CD: Far enough off topic to justify it's own thread in my opinion...

Bear in mind... Hunting, I think, is not the same as fighting.

Well if they met at this instant, the English would clobber the French due to superior numbers and a more developped society.

But duel a frenchman, and you won't live to tell the tale. ;-)

Yeh this is the thing ey, the french are coming. Oh no.

Well, IRL maybe... but in Cantr I hear...
Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

Yes. It's supposed to be based in some manner on the 'power' (I believe you oversimplify a bit there) of the characters already present.

So if the French get stronger by some sort of selective process, their newspawns will tend to be stronger also.

Do you mean a new language area?

Ohh,

I did not know that there was a complicated spawning system. It is interesting to hear that. I hope someday we can discuss on it also. Of course we need gamecreators to tell the story to us right

*raises his hands and preys to Cantr gods* to learn the secrets of the world.

Ohh yes i want to learn how many people there should be inorder to live in CANTR in my native language. By the way it is Turkish.

P.S. if there is others (want and find interesting of a TUURKISH community please pm me.)

Here are the requirements for adding Turkish as a Cantr language and eventually opening a Turkish region:
- at least 4 players who'd like to play there
- at least 1 player willing to translate Cantr to Turkish (could be one of the four)
- at least 1 player willing to advertise for more Turkish-speaking players (could be one of the four)

Send a mail to languages@cantr.net when you know a language that meets those requirements.

When was this requirement made?
I'm quite sure I'm the only bilingual guy on the Marketing Department.

That requirement was made when I first asked Jos about what it takes to open a new region, so for all I know it could have been there all the time. And I think it is there precisely because the Marketing Department isn't advertising for foreign players.
