The youngest person held by the US in the 'name of security'

Postby formerly known as hf » Tue May 03, 2005 12:12 am

Is eleven
at Abu Ghirab...

Now... I'm just writing this because I wonder if this is the sort of thing that would ever get US media coverage? To be honest - it's hardly hit UK press - I just heard about it - and it seems - well... eleven :!: :?: I really wonder what he did?...

Seriously it doesn't take a lot of strength nor mental capacity to fire a gun or relay military cooridnates. Small children are perfect for crawling under barbed wire.

I'm well aware of the Swymir (points to his signature) and the use of children as combatants is (scarily) common...

You love complaining about world issues...
And putting a link about it in your signature. You're becoming predictable.

She does realize that the bulk of the forum (statistically) is American, and this probably isn't the audience her topics would generally appeal to?

Yeah, we don't really care about anyone but ourselves. Unlike the rest of the world, who are always altruistic and want what's best for the world community.

I live in America... America sucks. I can't wait till I'm out of college in half a decade... Cause then I can leave. :P
Of course, due to my views, some classmates joke I'm a terrorist, a communist, and a nazi.

Yeah, America sure does suck. I mean, those millions of people trying to get in are crazy.

Well I guess its one of those things... you don't know how good you got it till you loose it.

and yes I am predictable

And West - I know the rest of the world is just as bad...

But - would you hear about this any other way? That's all I was wondering... (I already know you don't care ;))

Who knows if we would have heard about it? But you're not telling us the reason this kid is there. Telling half the story is as bad as not telling it at all.

And, America doesn't suck. In fact, America has lead the world in freedom and personal choice for 230 years. This global "community" ought to realize there's lots to be thankful in the world and some of it was sparked by America.

I get sick of hearing people freaking whining about how America sucks just because they don't like George Bush. Give me a break. I know a few dummy leaders throughout the world myself and their not in America.

I'd tell you if the US army would release that information - I'm not hiding anything, they are... Which, alongside the known abuses to women and girls in Abu Ghraib, makes me wonder what else they're hiding...

America has done well in spreading choice - unfortunatly, the choice they present to the rest of ther world is 'Our way or no way'

*hops in his cat bulldozer, emptying a 15 round clip from his desert eagle* Whoo hoo! Someone besides me feels like standing up for America with me! w00t!

Let em go other places. They just don't realise how good we got it here.

And yes, no matter what negative crap you feel like saying about us, we are your best friends. Love us!

Do you know what I do love?

Doughnuts...

The Americans brought us doughnuts - and for that, I can almost forgive anything...
