*looks at the man stareing him in the eye the waves his hand in front of his nose* You really should brush your teeth.

You think I am going to fight you. I just fought with Rainking not to long ago and I haven't had time to heal my wounds. Not to mention I have a few cracked ribs. I'm sorry Alex but you wouldn't stand a chance still so its not worth fighting you.

I don't want to accuse anyone Mikki, but someone is trying to kill you. She looks at the two men

she turns towards Sparkle and sighs You have always been a good friend to me.. That is why I asked you for the clothes. I told you how I felt about him from the start. I didn't ask to be one of your girls, but you insist on saying that I am. she looks up at Alex, then back to Sparkle It isn't him that I am scared of. Even though the whispers say that it is me, everyone has their own mind. So far everyone wants to believe those notes/whispers He is the only one that has backed me up from the start, that has been there for me and that has shown me what love really is. I am not going to turn my back on him now..

she watches Alex get in Dragon's face, and she gasps. she runs over to him and grabs at his hand, trying to pull him away from Dragon

Miss Sparkle, that is a good question: Why Mikki? Why would someone go to the trouble of framing her, if indeed she is innocent? I still would like the Sheriff to search her house for knives-- at the very least, she ought to be able to clear her own name thusly.

Mikki and Alex spent the night together last night. Whatever happened, I'm sure that neither could have slipped out to commit murder without the other knowing it, even if they were in separate rooms. Why, I was awakened hundreds of times last night with the normal creaks and groans of my house-- I'm sure Mikki would have heard Alex if he'd left, and vice versa. And yet, neither one accuses the other-- why is that? Because both of them know the other is innocent. Either that, or they're *both* killers, but I somehow doubt very, very much that that is the case.

Mr. Dragonslayer, you are quite possibly the most violent person I've met in this district. I know that you are under a great deal of strain, but please understand that your brawling and threats to kill people who accuse you do *not* speak well to your innocence! Not to mention the unpleasantness that occurred with Miss Seko, may she rest in peace.

I still do not know who has committed these crimes, but at the moment, I begin to think it must be you, Mr. DragonSlayer. I am, however, more than capable of being convinced otherwise, but at the moment, without a search of Mikki's belongings to find this supposed knife she has, you are the most likely person. You are the only person here directly connected with a death-- unfortunate though it may be-- and yet your actions today have been to draw steel on your neighbor, to engage in a brawl, and now to threaten Alex for speaking his mind. At what point have you shown yourself to actually be anything more than a-- a-- bully?

Please, anyone, with any evidence, please speak up. Sheriff Spider, I urge you to engage in the search I requested-- do your job, please, just this one time...

Shakes her head

Fine Mikki. You had alot of support here from your true friends, but if you can't see beyond this man's blind love and is willing to die for him then go ahead. Suite yourself.

*Surprisingly, Alex grins, and mutters something low, so that only Dragon can hear.*

*still smiling at Dragon, Alex let's himself be pulled away by Mikki.*

she looks at mortain and nods Please go through my house. All I have is clothes all over the place. if you would like to go in now I will take everyone that wants to go.. *sighs* I am not hiding anything. When Alex and went in the house earlier, that was the first time I had been there since the very first murder.. but come in if you like..

*surprised at what he said he pushes Mikki away for a bit to speak with him but looks up at her* Excuse us.

*then he turns back to him*

I don't think the killer is Sir Dragon, Ms. Mortaine, or Mikki, but I could be wrong. I don't know anything and when I do know something no one wants to listen to me. I give up for now. You all can figure this out for yourselfs. I'm going to rest my weary body...I abstain from voting...

She walks to her home and sits in her rocking chair sighing...

being pushed out of the way by Dragon, she tries to stop herself from falling to the ground by reaching for the railing to her stairs, but misses and falls, twisting her ankle in the process . she winces in pain as she grabs at her ankle

Alex quickly responds to Dragon, then notices Mikki on the ground.

"Mikki! Are you all right?"

He kneels down beside her and tries to gently help her up, being careful to not move the ankle.

[mikki]

with Alex's help, she is able to get up and move to her stairs. after she sits down she then looks up at Dragon wondering why he pushed her, then looks at Alex, her hand massaging her ankle Yes, Alex I think I will be fine.. Just very sore.. Thank you for your help..



she looks at Sparkle and nods in agreement

I agree with her. I don't know who is trying to set me up. she sighs

I will abstain she continues to rub her ankle

This is all very confusing... And, hey, that's funny, you want to accuse me? You must be kidding!!

Alex, you said you didn't sell silk stockings, but you're sure Sparkle's girls do have silk stockings.. Isn't mikki one of Sparkle's girls??

He drags himself up onto his news and crawls towards a wall to support himself on The voice... the voice... the voice said Dragonslayer was the murderer, not Mikki Dragonslayer!
