She opens the door for Mortaine and offers her a seat

Alex's shoulders slump and he sighs, kicking a stone across the street.

I guess I abstain too.

Deliberately avoiding to look towards Spider, his eyes shift towards Mikki, sitting in front of her house away from the others. Walking away from the others he takes a seat by her side and whispers to her.

[Spider]

starts to speak in a low voice, loud enough only for the people outside to hear him
...I have been investigating, most of the time...but being depended on to find murderers is really stressful... So i flirt most of the time, but if you have no intentions with me, then nothing will happen...

Anyways, its time to give everyone some information...I'll start with Nixit...He is a very suspicious person, i personally don't like how he was once against me and now struggling to not go against me...i think he might have something to hide, but i don't know what......hears what Nixit said but i guess now i know....

Sparks...she likes to 'check up' on her girls and their business...she wasn't too much of help, she was feeding me some false information(that is what i found out as the questionings carried on)...I don't think shes hiding anything important...but not letting her out of your sight might be a good thing...

Alex, he stays up late, supposedly working on bookeeping...but i don't think hes so smart, since he fell for one of Sparks girls...he knew what he was getting himself into...Anyways, i'm not suspicious of him at all...but he was more helpful then anyone else on telling me what we can sum up from Surly's death..."One, that at least one of the murderers spoke with Surly yesterday and found out about all his cairo research. And two, that at least one of them is somehow tied to the bordello in some way. Not necessarily working for it, but someone who would have access to a pair of silk stockings."

Mortaine...my god, she talks so fucking much!...she can talk about anything...she just goes on and on and on...but now that i think about it, she didn't really let me talk much...but thats just her way...she has been more of a help then anyone else with giving me information on Surly...but shes always in such a rush....

Dragon, he seemed to have preferred Seko to Sparks...he seems to notice everything that goes on around him...he told me he was more level headed to ever just rush into anything, but after this fight, i guess not...he has a sword collection which he had no problem showing me...but i didn't feel i needed to inspect it with him being so open...

Dee...she tells me that she falls into deep sleeps when she goes to bed...she seems very secretive...but when i first saw her, she was very helpful...i guess the deaths are getting to her...i dunno...

Rainking, he was totally against Dragon, but i dunno whats going on now...

sighs

...and now time for Mikki...she loves the clothes that she got from Sparks because it was a great improvement from the 'rags' she used to work at the factory..and she has a problem with telling the truth, once i was questioning her, she had no problem telling me she was one of Spark's girls, she said she works there now, so i could visit if i wanted...
I didn't think much of it until a while ago...after i questioned Mortaine, I felt someone following me, I looked back, but no one there and i suddenly heard something..."Mikki does not sleep sound at night, she carries a long blade with which to fright. I have saved you once sheriff....
I didn't really think much of it until a bit later...something that started puzzling me is why she quit her job...i mean, after all this time, she finally quits when the murders are occuring...and it is commen knowledge that Sparks place is usually doing it's job at night...something to think about...Which is why i wanted to talk to her again...and this is where we are...

[Nixit]

*nods in approval* Okay... okay...

[mikki]

*she looks away from Alex as she hears her name being called, looking over at Spider her eyes begin to fill with tears as he all but accuses her of murder* You said you needed to talk to me, to ask me another question. I went willingly with you to the station. When I walked in you locked the door and asked me the last time I had sex and that you wanted some from me.. You were pretty much on top of me. I pushed you off and MADE you unlock the door. You just about raped me inside, and then you come out here and say that stuff about me. what the hell have I lied about? You say I don't sleep at night. I do sleep.. I slept in Alex's bed last night. *her voice trails off as she continues to cry*

[AoM]

Alex puts his arms around Mikki, letting her sob into his shoulder. He shoots a hard look at Spider.

[Nixit]

*his eyes widen and his face looks disbelieving, yet after Mikki has finished talking, his eyes narrow and he whispers harshly in Spider's ear*

Sparkle's door opens and Miss Mortaine and Miss Sparkle come out onto the street. They both look more calm, although neither could be accused of having been very worked up in the first place. Miss Mortaine glances around, notes Mikki crying in Alex's arms and purses her lips disapprovingly.

"Shall we assume that someone said something to make Miss Mikki cry?"

[Nixit]

I'm afraid so... Sherrif believes that Mikki is a possible suspect... but... *whispers quickly to Mortaine*

[mortaine]

*nods and replies back in low tones*

[Nixit]

*nods and shrugs, but spreads his hand wide and gestures towards Spider, nervously*

[mortaine]

*nods at Mr. Nixit, still speaking in low tones*

[Nixit]

*nods in agreement with Mortaine, and makes hand gestures of one heavier than the other*

[Sparkle]

sighs

Well as of this moment I abstain from voting...

I guess I'm not as good a investigator as I thought. I tried...I give up...I can't help my girls with the little information we have. Oh how I wish we just had something solid!

She shakes her head in fustration

Well they can't both be telling the truth, can they?

a look of puzzle runs across Swymir's face for a few moments until he just forgets the whole thing and continues to work out some calculations in his head
