Whatever happened to the IRC channel?

I go on the IRC channel on one of the servers mentioned in the announcment, but no ones ever there, and whereas it used to say it was registered and the topic etc it says nothing now. What happened with it?

I went there a few times when the game was down and no one was there. I think someone should re-explain how to download it for the newer people. I would, but I wouldn't be able to explain it well.

I am often in the IRC room in the evening, but it is true that there are rarely other people there. I would like to see more people.

It's hard to say something like "let's meet 21.00 GMT" cuz everybody is in differnt time zones... For instance, for americans it's noon @ 21.00 GMT. So maybe erm... we have to make a webbased IRC channel? So even people who nothing bout IRC or don't have a program like mIRC can connect.
