This is the General Discussion board, not Non-Cantr Discussion. If you want to discuss waffles and syrup, do it in PMs. Or in a different forum.

This thread isa about Cantr Races. Whatever that means...

By the way, totally found a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Quebec and they called it 'PFC'...can anyone give me a reason? And they even served fries with gravy! :D

Quebec is the only place in the world where KFC is not KFC. KFC is even KFC in China.
And in France. But not Quebec.

Actually this is my topic, and I think YOU'RE hijacking it by changing it into a conversation about moderating. :P

It has little to do with the metric system...

On that point... how is it crazy? 0 is the boiling point, 100 is the freezing point.
1 millilitre of water = 1 square centimeter.
Easy!

The metric system is brilliant - and I'm from Britain - where the Imperial system was first developed - the Americans are so backwards (in the 'how to measure things' sense...)

If I remember correctly, France drove out the English, and the last time the English beat the French in a war, they lost the thirteen colonies.

CD: Split topic from GD. Have fun with more random discussion...
And in answer to you Schme, the French may have driven the English out... but who won that war? Neither side. The French never successfully invaded England... whilst we had holdings in France for hundreds of years.

Yeah, and in the 7 years war... the Brits fought for 7 years, but we fought for 9 or something, and we still didn't get to move west!

Of course, I probably would've been against that war, as we were fighting the Native Americans...

you wouldn't have had the chance to save our bums if we hadn't shipped all our raving religious nutters as far away as we could get them...

Watch out for the Swedes too - they're stockpiling brigades of naked blonde ladies to place us off our guards first...
