Most Bureaucratic Place

Postby joshua johnson » Wed Apr 27, 2005 9:28 pm

I would like to hear about the places that are the most beaurocratic, and whether that is interesting, restrictive, tedious, or engaging, or all of the above. I have my own ideas, but I will share them later.

Do you even have to ask? It starts with a 'Q'. Go on, take a wild guess. :)

Is it the QuickyMart? I think I saw one of those in Drojf, it was staffed by very friendly, scantily clad women.

No, that can't be right. They cut right through all the beaurocracy.

Come on people, of course I knew it started with a Quillano....

Elaborate! Tell what you love and hate about it! Talk about characters and have some fun. Let's raise some emotions!

If you wanted to talk about Quillanoi, you probably should have bumped up the old "Quillanoi" topic, or the much more enthusiastic "Quillanoi!!!!!!!" thread.

Well, I didn't know they existed, and didn't search. But I was just a bit curious if anyplace even came close!

You know, it is bureaucratic... I'm quite tempted to change the title of the thread so it is correct. *shrugs* Just frutrates me slightly...

Anyway, it is traditionally Quillanoi. And it still is in my opinion... maybe Lad. during Frick's reforms started on the road to bureaucracy... but definitely Quillanoi.

Spelling errors disgust all of us upper class typists. Don't be so angry. Come to one of the weekly GCA (Grammarically Correct Anonymous) meetings, and we'll get you fixed up so that you don't want to even think about correcting someone.

...Well... there's always a SMALL bit of temptation...

...Oh man, now I need to chant! Thanks a lot, Surly!

[chant]I am the most powerful typist in the worllllddddd... I do not need to get frustrated over grammarically incorrect sentences or those with spelling errors... this is very much an exampleeeeeee.... ohhhhhmmmmmmmmm[/chant]

Ahh, much better.

All of my errors are deliberate. I don't want to seem narrow-minded or elitist. :D (see my post above for creative spelling example).

I have to admit I have a penchant for bueracratic organisations/governments, but then bueracracy does help larger groups work and tick over when they span large areas.

I think it's a nessecary evil if you want to progress beyond a certain point or size.
