The new pointing button

Postby Surly » Mon Apr 25, 2005 10:04 pm

Okay, I know this is a slightly petty suggestion... but is there any chance of moving the point button to the middle? Putting the enter building/vehicle back on the left.

I keep accidently pointing at buildings, and it's frustrating. Especially for such a small thing.

Anyway, any chance of swapping the buttons around?

I've done it at least five times today (point when I wanted to enter)

[Enter][Point][Knock]

Would be cool :)

It's funny, I've started poking fun at certain people who do it and they actually try to explain why.. but we still should change it.

Yeah I keep doing it too out of habit of where the button used to be.

Wow, my most popular idea ever... :P

Anyway, could I add a request for swapping the road buttons around as well..

[leave][point][upgrade]

I keep getting an error message when I accidently try to point at a road from inside a vehicle... which is irritating. Swap the buttons!

I know at least one guy who MEANT to get in his bike and leave town.

He pointed at his bike, pointed at the road, and sat there until someone informed him he was still in town. Then he left, forgetting the bike.

Would have been even funnier if he'd been trying to steal the bike... :D
