Why not? With better programming it could be discarded. A bike cart should be able to carry more goods than a tandem but not an exta person. The justification for the expense of a tandem
should be precisely that it can carry two people.
I find it amusing that sometimes people use real life physics to justify absurdities of game balance in Cantr, and then the next minute emphasize how different Cantr is from real life in order to justify absurdities of Cantrian physics.
What we have now seems to be a lot of fancy names for different bikes but, thanks to serious game imbalances, only one is worth anything. In other words, something is wrong.
