Honestly, Aluminum does exist in the game, there is some of it around from what this nifty listing says. 3700 grams, to be exact.

It isn't like it's all that hard to make...

Well, I have one character with the wealth to attempt this. Unfortunatly, based on the maps he has, the nearest (read only) source of what I believe to be the raw material is like 10 cities away. I can't confirm that because we are still building the machine which will confirm what the raw material that it needs.

We need aluminum bikes asap! Faster, less expensive, better!

My characters have nothing to do with my desire for cheaper vehicles either...

Might not be a bad idea...
But you should bear in mind that aluminum bikes wouldn't be cheaper. Aluminum isn't that hard to make, but it's probably as hard as steel. And less useful.

Yes but steel for sabre or steel for a bike? We'd see more bikes with aluminum, which would be good.

yes, aluminum bikes would be good - I've always wondered why bikes weren't made of aluminium, seeing that it was seemingly possible to make aluminium...

Hey anthony!

Ummm, its not a vehicle..I don't think BUT Instead of push carts...How about SHOPPING (grocery) carts Laughing They are metal, they are sturdy, they are light and really really fun to ride on/ in them!

>.> *coughs* Ahem...Like I would know.. *mummbles* heh.

With no electricity in Cantr, it should actually be impossible to make aluminum.

Who said there's no electricity in Cantr?

You OBVIOUSLY haven't seen peoples vehicles running without a battery :D

A shopping cart? Are you kidding? NO! Susie, if I did that, then there'd be no need for a pushcart... NOOO NEEEDD. Then all that whining people did, to get a pushcart implemented... it would be for NOTHING!

An aluminum bike might be cool. But at my current standpoint, I'd say aluminum would be HARDER to acquire than Steel. It honestly depends where you're located. But the majority of places, it would be harder than easier.

If we had shopping carts we would definitely have to have aluminum so we could fill it with empty cans, though glass bottles might do the trick.

At least we've got the hemp longcoat which is pretty good attire for pushing a shopping cart full of cans down the street.

You do that. Then ram it into your computer, to see if it'll fit in the A:\ drive so you can upload it to Cantr.

Also, bronze would be harder to make than iron or steel... which kind of makes creating bronze a bad idea, IMO.

Wait, what? Other than the fact that I've never seen phosphorus, which I was going to bring up on general support (you know, will anyone ever see phosphorus, or is it one of those 'find a new world to get the low-tech alternative' things?), I'd think it's no harder.
