Gender Breakdown

Postby star » Sat Apr 16, 2005 8:03 am

I'm curious. Does anyone have any guess as to the breakdown by gender of Cantr players? Not characters, mind you but how many men and how many women play Cantr?

This is a good question. There are many games were mainly (or only) men play.

So why not add a poll to this thread?

There seem to be plenty of women on the forum, anyway.

Thers no need, you don't need to prove stereotypes wrong or right. Theres no point. Most people would say the average person who plays web games like cantr wouldn't play sport, but thats not true of me. Thres anyother one to the wastebin. It doesn't matter!

I like football, I mean I support my team and go to there games and all but not very good at it. Same goes for cricket.

I'm a rugby union man though.

However Football is the best sport in the world bar none, and I wish I was good at it!

Soccer was the only sport I was any good at. I played defense mostly as a kid because I was too lazy to condition enough to play forward.

I tried to play football (American) in high school. I was a fairly decent reciever excpet for the fact that I was slow and had no stamina - okay, I could catch anything thrown at me and that was my only skill. I was 6'0" and weighed 130 lbs in pads so I flew 10 yards every time the linebackers hit me. :) Although I could get up after every hit, that wasn't enough to justify keeping me on the team.

You only weighed 130 pound in high school?

I was 160 in junior high!

But then again, I'm rather taller than is healthy.

I don't know. I've always felt that my weight was best, and anyone higher or lower weighing than me was somehow.....How would one say it? Unghettofabulous.
