:D what a great song, definatly one of the best off the wall, though personally i like "Mother" 8) see, definatly worth making your Forum name when you cant think of anything else and your listening to one of the best bands ever! i was listening to the song "dogs" of of "animals" when i joined up, hence the Avatar, plus i love the art work for that album.

.. well, now i look like a geek

Edit: oh now listening to "great gig in the sky" a shiny penny for anyone who can name the vocalist!

I knew he plays bass guitar, but I wasn't sure if he was the vocalist.

And I tend to try to play without consulting the God of Knowledge (Google).

I'm 20, American Yankee (because I live in the Northern US), of Irish-Norweign Ethnicity, male. I live in a small village called West Sand Lake in New York State (no, not the city). I'll be graduating with an Associates Degree in Applied Science majoring in Broadcast Communications and am currently looking for full time employment. Anyone looking to hire? :D

Well if we're going to get into ethnicity, too, I'm a mongrel - half Irish, and half Geordie/Cumbrian/Italian mix.

Hey, Cookie Monster, it's me that's in Carlisle. I have a few connections to the North East, though, I went to Durham Uni (and became a great fan of the 1:45AM Newcastle - Durham train, due to the nightlife in Durham being awful).

The Toy Museum's pretty well known in a good distance, I think... Not been tehre for years, but it was good when I was young. As was the castle. Of course, none of the "castle" that currently exists is original; nor, IIRC, was the original castle particularly similar, apart from being made of wood.

And, sorry to end the Floyd-loving, but... Now Playing: Rhapsody - Guardians Of Destiny (English Version) [05:21 of 05:28] The Dark Secret (EP) 3

32yo Male. Married with 2 children. Live in Northampton, England. I work in Milton Keynes as a computer programmer.

To get the geography right  , Northampton is about the lowest part of the Midlands, it doesn't quite sit in East Anglia.
The Midlands extend north by a very very long way, not sure where the limit is but I know that Derby is included in it.

Essex is further south, is in the east and AFAIK, is not included in East Anglia. That should make it South East along with Kent

Here endeth my account of the geography of England. (Mainly cos I don't actually know that much, it's all taken from job sites and what to enter to get certain towns).

If the wolves who would like to rip this to shreds would like to form an orderly queue, it starts here.
