What are loosers?

"Book smarts" are not for losers, and what makes you say that, Yo_Yo? Yes, there are other types of knowledge that are also important, but it is still important to succeed in the type of knowledge gained in schools.

This is so off-topic . . .

This must be the aggression outlet thread! *Wrecks up the place, bashbashbashbash, the builds a little nest out of the debris and hides in there, growling at anyone who dares to come too close.*

Well... I was never ever ever a good speller. You should all know that by now. And all i'm saying is that none of the information I gained in school, with the exception of my ABC's has helped me in my job. The only thing I do outside of my job is hang out at bars, play pool and sleep. Not to mention eat.

I'm just angry at how I wasted... something like 12 years of my life doing something I didn't want to do.

You were in school for only 12 years?

Yup. Not wasting my money on college. No point in it.

It's possible to get qualified for a job if you take vocational school. At least in here. 9 years of comprehensive school and three years of secondary school.

If you're talking about GPA, the highest is 4, at least it is here. But, you could get over 4 (the absolute maximum being 5) by getting high marks in advanced or honors courses. 3.5 is good, but a GPA isn't all that great of an indicator, it doesn't tell if the person in question is taking super-easy classes or not. (That was not directed toward west or anyone else. I, for example, am taking mostly easy and effortless required classes this year and have a GPA of 4.3 or something like that.)

It's out of 4. 3.5 is A-/B+ range. Considering the courses I was taking and the usual difficulty of classes at this school, it's quite good, at least for me.

Yeah, 4 is right. That's the max for my school even if you are taking honors (in which there is only honors math), but in the highschool I think with all honors you can get a 4.97 or something weird like that.

Depends on your high school, depends on how many weighted courses you take, etc.

At my university 4.0 is the highest you can get, and very few people get it.

Yep. Our highschool is very weird grading wise.

EDIT: What is the point of this thread anyway?

the topic is "People who can't play" but I think that's more like a starting point these days....

Would we include people who don't pla in the spirit of the game in this?

People who when they are inconvinienced become as irritating as they can.

I find it irritating when people that try to RP things not covered by the game mechanics almost demand that you go along with it, or else you are considered a poor RPer. Sorry, if I'm out to kill someone and he says "*hides where he can't be found*" I'm likely to kill him anyway.

I wish there would be a chance to hide. But just writing it like that sucks pretty bad. Ok maybe if someone rp'd with details how they run to the woods and crawl in the bushes then I'd take some effort of following them, man that might get interesting.... but usually when the goal is to kill or imprison someone you hit or drag first without writing anything cause most people will just take the chance and hit you first or run away.

OOC Comments totally ruin the atmosphere, speccially the ones like "OOC:Sorry I meant knife, not kife"
Ah that really screws up the moment. Just think of something interesting about your character that might explain whatever you do. That's the fun part about roleplaying!
