I'm still playing cantr, so stop dancing for joy!
I've just noticed lately, when I check the forums, I just get more and more upset about the cliques about, so I'm not gonna check the forums anymore.
My ideas get shot down, my threads get split and locked, I just get generally abused. It's a very hostile place here.
So, bye.
*lets the parties I'm upset with imagine appropriate obscene gesture at themselves*

Reality was never my strong point.

I blame it on this 'new generation'. And before I get flamed that was meant as a joke.
I find most people on this forum to be nice. I do notice that sometimes the wrong things are said or certain people annoy certain people and they just bicker about it. Like I think I annoy Seko and other newer players for discussing things that happened before they were around. But that is the way that certain things work.

I like it when people tell the old tales...its like getting a history...to better understand why certain places are 'ruled' and 'run' the way they are

But there are some people that don't like that. I can understand why because they feel left out because they weren't involved at these times. So I understand where Seko and the others are coming from but I think they will understand where the older members are coming from when they have played for two years and they are dealing with people who've only played for a couple months.
But I agree with you. That is why I like discussing these things so you're better able to understand the world which makes the experience of playing Cantr in my opinion so much more enjoyable.

I hate to hijack this thread... but I would like to know just how old Cantr is. I've been playing for 18 months now (whether that makes me a relatively old or new player I don't know). But how old is old? The Cantr clock says 1100 and old days... is that a true reflection?

Well, as long as he is still playing Cantr. I would find it a worse loss if it was reversed... There are plenty of annoying people left on the forum without you, Agar...
But seriously, if this is what it takes to maintain the desire for Cantr, so be it. Better than the alternative...

I started playing on day 200. So I've been playing for about 2 and half years now. So does that make me old? That must make Jos ancient.

Nope. Can't tell you exactly, though. But Cantr has had a lot of downtime, as well as one time quite a while ago, Cantr leaped back in time a few months. Now THAT was annoying.
I suppose I've been playing over two years... not sure how long exactly.

Nah, it makes him pre-historic.
What would nearing one and two/thirds years be? Veteran?
