goodbyes and apologies

Postby Chrissy » Sun Apr 03, 2005 2:24 pm

Hi everyone!

Well, the good news is, I didn't die of alcohol poisening. Haha. The bad news, I had to spend an entire day in bed, hungover, forced to reflect on everything I said here the night before. I don't regret it, things happen and you can't dwell on them, one can only move forward. I do apologize to the people who expect more from me then that childish outburst I gave, however, if your someone who actual knows me, then you know I expect more from myself also.

To clarify, I think Europe is great. I don't think I ever said bad things about the country, only asked about the swearing, but, the p.m. I received this morning from Cookie Monster, telling me I am a [bad, bad, name], leads me to believe I said more. The people I've spoke to over the years, that live there, have always been very, very, nice. I am impressed with many things Europe has to offer.

When I started playing 2 years ago, Cantr consisted mainly of adults, and 2, 15 year olds, who both were so mature, I was shocked when I found out their age. Things have changed drastically, I feel the adults are now the minority. And as I stated in my drunken stuper, I need to be around adults. :D

:D Instead of stating all the bad things I've saw, and bad people I've met while here, I'm going to share some positive things before I go. I come from a very small town, and although I knew the world was big, I had no idea... how, huge, it really is. When I first starting playing, I would go out with my friends at night, and tell them about all the amazing people I met from all these amazing countries. They found it amazing too! I've become a huge fan of the history channel and travel channel, soaking up every bit of information I can about the world.

Cantr has been like a mirror for me also. It has reflected my personality back at me, forcing me to see my good traits, and my bad ones. Although it's been a very intense experience for me, I wouldn't change a thing. It's made me a better person and for that I will always be greatful. All of you, are part of a chapter in my life, and I will never forget you.

Try to be the best humans you can possibly be and never let others bring you down or try to convince you otherwise. Take care of yourselfs.

Love,

Chrissy

I'm very sad to see you go.

Well, it was nice meeting you too (if only over the internet) and I wish you all the best.

Keep your head down,
Alex

We'll miss ya and your outbursts and occasionally scary propositions (I've still got that PM somewhere).

But yeah, that's why I don't drink and cantr.

Chrissy, if anyone insulted you using the forum PMs and you wish it dealt with, PM me who and they'll be dealt with.

I don't think you said anything anti-europe that I remember - that was people who came along later. (On that note, that topic may have to die if it gets any worse.)

Alright, TatteredShoeLace, I've left you about twelve not so sutle hints (including the chosen name clearly written to the left of every single one of my posts) but it does not appear that your getting it.

Here, I'll say it for you.

I do not call myself Scheme. I call myself Schme. It is spelled Schme. Please stop calling me Scheme.

Not being snide or sarcastic at all, but where did your name come from schme?

From the book Peter Pan.

I used to like the character Mr. Schme so much that my older cousin gave me the nickname.

I continue using it even today.

Simple mistake, I'll try to watch it. But please Schme, you need to stop posting like you do. Random, off topic, most often double or even triple posts, and with an attitude that no one really wants here. This post is about an old original player finally leaving due to circumstances that are a little fuzzy....and yes, she did bother me but not passing Blojt's power sooner, but that is why the sleeping sickness is indeed a sickness. Please stop filling the forum with random double posts, people will stop reading them when its page after page of garbage.
