I have 3 right now. One isn't really insane, but the only word he can say is "potatoes" and you can take a guess on what he collected for a year straight. another is my guy in Djorf who is trying start a religion, and occassionally shouts to the people saying stuff like "The Almighty will smite you all" you know, stuff like that. And I have a third guy whos has split personalities. the first one is a really good guy, kinda quiet though. The other is a complete psychopath. oh and I have another who is obsessed with death

Of course it is! It's the best stuff in the world!

Would I lie?

Well, it's decent enough. And seeing as those people have in fact never heard any music before, it is the best they have ever heard, weather they like it or not.

I have a character like that. He has learned how to say a few names and the local resources that he hears the names of frequently, words like food, tired, etc. Mostly he just hugs a lot and hands out potatoes every time someone is attacked by a cow.

I have a linguistically challenged character, but he has no other handicap whatsoever.

Does anyone have any characters which have more serious mental conditions as opposed to comic retardedness?

Perhaps paranoid personality disorder, BPD, manic depression, schizophrenia, or others?

There's a good example in Lake Village.

The same character is also a power hungry schizophrenic, who keeps giving himself titles of, who is now in fact well armed.

At least he didn't just one day start calling himself "Lord" for some reason, like another guy he hangs out with.

I don't know if that counts.

I'm afraid I don't really have anything interesting.

Anyone recall Beans and Rocco in the Shortzinazy area? I had Beans...well still do actually. He and Rocco were attacked by the citizens of Shorty (bunch of thugs if you ask me).

Funny story...they found a key on the ground that belonged to a guy that died. They had no idea which lock the key belonged to. When Beans and Rocco got to Shorty, Beans entered an interesting looking building. When he got inside he realized the key he had went to the lock on the building.

Being a little nuts he and Rocco (who was just as nuts) thought that they had a building...I don't think the townsfolk liked it. I believe poor Rocco was killed, now Beans is on a neverending search for his buddy.

I think Baron F could be considered slightly off balance as well. Of course, he knows exactly what he's doing...he's probably just mean.

Yeah, there's a nice nut in Lake Villiage right now...cassic romanticized multiple-personality.

There's at least one other nut there that I don't think anyone has figured out yet...it may never come up too obviously. Then again, if the wrong person dies...
