Suspicious story
This could be a legit lie, but even that seems hard to believe...
A woman named Jewel Stingray in Siom claims to have been married, had her husband killed by pirates, killed the pirates, and fled avenging police. From Seatown...
She is less than 20 days old. The only way I can see this being legit and not someone giving their character an illegal pre-spawn background, and OOC geography, is if there's a note around showing Seatown on it.

I take it she didn't like her husband much, having him bumped that soon in their pre-lives.
But I have a question about this issue anyways, what if she made up names and the sort, too? (i.e. For husband/pirates) If she did-couldn't it be considered a right out lie? But I understand if she took names that she couldn't've known...Bah. Can someone clarify pre-spawn history for me?

I take it you know language, need for food...protection?

She named Seatown, that's the part that could be a definite CR breach if she has no way to know it. Other than that, it's only a CR breach if it's supposed to be the character's true history (which doesn't exist) rather than a lie.

wtf, do we have so many people in the PD ?
Why are there so many discussions about reports being made here?
And most of these discussions are just about wild theories based on nothing at all, while it is easily enough for the PD to checkout the story themselves....

Considering that the topic of this thread has been dealt with, I'd just like to say something before it is locked...
I feel that allowing players to discuss these situations not only allows for a stronger grip on the CR overall, but also allows interaction with the PD. I don't like the impression that the PD is in somehow better than me, as is implied by the attitude of some of the messages I have received. This way, the PD seems less... I don't know... arrogant in a way. Which as a player I appreciate.
Anyway, that's enough from me...

Well that player has been contacted and seems to have set things in the right path
As far as me thinking I am better than everyone....I don't need to be on the PD to do that..
Ive been doing that since I have been born.

It is perhaps interesting indeed to allow some form of discussion and it can help both the reporter, the PD and the player in the discussion, if done properly.
My response here is perhaps a bit of an overreaction to what happened with something that I reported. In that thread, I reported something that I thought was curious (3 thefts in a row with the same modus operandi), so I requested the PD look into this to see if this was a CR breach.
Now what happened was that players responded theorizing that this was probably not a CR breach, what was I even thinking of reporting something like that and some even going so far as accusing me of trying to report other people so that I could benefit from it myself.
Now I fail to see how these kind of responses will benefit to anyone.
