Hee, very cute but no, I was just running out the door and didn't have time to double check. It's always been too easy to confuse them. Why couldn't they have more distinct names, darnit?
Are you saying it was unreasonable to assume that if they were attacking the legitimate government they weren't attacking the innocent civilians as well?

Yes. There was no evidence upon which to base those rumors. If they had said that TBR could also be attacking innocent citizens then it would have been reasonable but the statements were given as fact. Perhaps Ben and Rick just were too embarrassed by how quickly they fled from an attack by two people to admit the truth. In my recollection Nick and Dismai were the only two "attackers." Admittedly, there probably would have been more if other TBR members had been awake.

There would have been, probably because Dismai said "Kill them!" to the world at large.

And no innocent CITIZENS died, maybe, but what happened to Nisira or Javan Euclid?

Anyway, Rick never said that TBR was killing other people.

But about which government was better, there's one fact you keep ignoring: The other government (and Rick specifically) had one real goal: To make life better and freer for everyone in Karnon Forest - and by extension the rest of the island. The current regime wants to make life better for itself, and if others benefit from it so much the better.

The older people went out of their way to make life better for people, even at the expense of personal power, privelege, and even respect, because they honestly believed in freedom and non-restriction and letting people do what they wanted to do if it didn't hurt people.

I don't see the new regime doing that.

*Knows what happened to Javan near attack* .. *Also knows who plays char*

She died in Nick's arms after a lingering illness. I cried every night for a week as they said their goodbyes. *sob*

Awh. Oh well. One good loss, another good spawn. At least I think that's how it works.

Ah, very well, so she wasn't duped. She was just another TBR loyalist, choosing what's best for the tribe before true justice. Good to know.

I'd hate to think how torn I'd be in all these conflicts if the one character I had planned to have join TBR hadn't been murdered by West and Jerry.

One person's justice is another person's just us. HAHAHAHAHA! This could be TBR's new motto!

But seriously folks...yeah they tossed out a boring democracy for a tribe-ocracy or whatever the heck they have now. What's it to ya, sore losers? Go TBR!!! I hope they enslave the whole island. Now that would be some fun.*

*Does not necessarily represent the goals of TBR, just my own ebil thoughts. Please don't start posting things like, "Aha! I knew they were imperialistic. Damn that stinky, tricky Nick!"

I'm not a member of the Collective. I've lost nothing.

However, I think there's a more realistic and brighter future in store for the Tribe and the island as opposed to Island enslavement. ...but that remains to be seen.

And I refuse to let TBR's motto be stolen from Terry Pratchett. (Or if he stole it from someone else, then that person... all I know is I've seen that saying before.)

I know who played Javan, and I also know what ended up happening to him, if not exactly how.

And AoM? "West and Jerry" haven't killed anyone, ever. At least, I haven't. Certain of our CHARS may have killed your char, but it wasn't personal, to player or character.

Ok, TBR does not restrict anything. Gather anything you want feel free, only thing they restrict like any other town is hunting animals with a low population. And it was Nick who said "Attack him!!!' and later "Kill them!!" pointing at Rick and Ben, after Rick walked out. Thing is i knew you still had a key to the hq, i just didnt do anything about it becuase i didnt count on the dragging errors.

The current regime as you want to call it, makes life better for everyone. Not just themselves. I dont see how Free shields, weapons and tools to anyone who asks is making life better just for Tbr. I dont see how free cooked meat to anyone who asks is making life better for tbr, and i dont see how free use of cots for anyone that needs them, makes life better just for tbr. Can you tell me west please how all of that makes life better, Just for Tbr.

 So basically, anything that TBR does is bad or has ulterior motives. Check your fly, West, I think your resentment is showing.

 Oh, no you di-ent. You played the I've-been-in-KF-longer-than-you-have-so-I-should-know card!!!!!!

Don't you mean that your char has known TBR for 30 years? Don't start getting yourself confused with your char now.

Am I still on your people-I-don't-hate-that-much list or did I get the boot? :?
Say yes! Don't make me blackmail you (I saw your pre-edit post)

 Brilliant.

Couldn't say it better myself. But don't worry West, I harbor no beef with you, just your character. Although let's face it. There's a little bit of us all in our characters. Assuming we bother to RP with them.

That's exactly it. My other chars have no contact with TBR, (except cursorily) and so they don't have an opinion of it.

But Rick's known TBR for that long, and since I do play him (you heard it here first, folks) I the player have been observing TBR since that time. Of course, I the player know a lot that Rick doesn't know.

You're not off the list, Kinvoya. I liked Dismai until she tried to kill one of my chars. :P

Has the old Archprelate met up with the new one yet, an expedition was sent from Kwor from what I remember.
