I don't think I have any on this list yet. Of course, my most memorable chars are still alive

Well, except for El Adan. I'd like to think he was memorable for someone.
Ad Astra, maybe.

I don't know how many people found him memorable, but the only one who I have on this list is Emerald Ize, from Karnon. His views that he had on war and fighting ended up with a lot of people disliking him, even though he managed to get into the army, but he ended up mouthing off to Commander Adamski who locked him up and sentenced him to death. I seem to remember that the Commander was incredibly angry

Good heavens yes! And somehow memorable even for a generation that never knew him... although in an obscure, almost mythological way. You've Taowyn and his songs to thank for that.

(Heck, I sure hope Taowyn wakes up some day.)

By the way, El Adan's "A brief history of the Nossé (and therefore Drojf)" is still around, and then of course there's Taowyn's Dedication at the bottom of The Ranger's Tale.

The story of how El Adan stood up to the bandits for his family, is truly touching and in a very interesting way, helped develop some of the policy decisions for the Nosse Family.

I do hope John had included the incident in recollect, in the Ranger's Tale.

I was going to mention El Adan and Silly since even after all my original characters are dead due to my inactivity, those two particular long-gone characters live on in my mind. Of course, Lisette's death and long-term detriment caused by that death still makes me cry.

Yah, I'm a softie.

The Drojf region has had the most profound effect on me personally. Actually, I'm going to make a post about that.

Which reminded me of Charlie--in Lad...anyone remember his last name? Cos? He was almost the ruler.......and then was murdered in the Granery in front of my Geneia's very sad eyes.

So many mentions of Seth Everett yet no talk about John Louts. I'm shocked. I don't think Seth would have had nearly as much power if it weren't for Louts. It wa sLouts who pushed for Everett to get into the Senator position and then he get's backstabbed when Seth does get the position. Well that sparked a heated rivalry.

Charlie Parker was the so-called Vizer of Lad, but I never saw him do a thing. When the time came for Hawthorne and Parker to butt heads for the Emperor's position, the military supported Hawthorne. Perhaps if the Vizer ever spoke to the miliitary or did his job, history would have been different.

General Rock had a group of good people that very very loyal to him and waited to see what side they would support.

Theodore Wellington:
Most influential person for my first char, Blythe Lange. Cantr is the only online RPG I've played, and early interactions with Theodore were my learning platform.

Vendor Ghost: Funny, friendly, sexy, heroic.

I don't think any of the other chars I'd nominate are dead yet.

Louts was one of the best I recruited, feel any better?

Charlie did more than you probably know, but most of it was background work. He was the most stable and he was actually next in line for the throne, but most of those who would have supported him died in the war. It's funny, Geneia became a sort of confidante to a lot of the soldiers before they went off to war, and to others too. It's not that she didn't like Hawthorne. She did. However she knew more than she let on. I guess many of her secrets died with her. How is the granary doing by the way?

Zaro Aster. Thanks a lot for being a quitter. I seriously don't know what to say here.

Yeah Duncan needed to speak with him on some things. Like trade agreements.

From the same time dates Sester Gartaf. I'm sorry he died, as meant the end of a plot to overthrow the established government, and replace it by the heirs of Romanov.

Sester was indeed memorable. I didn't know he died and I'm sorry to hear it. As much as a few of my charries here and there hated him (Blaman Forest I think...right outside of Cantr City one of my charries fled there and started life after the massacre, and lived through the shambles of the Lad attacked there haha.) Oh, and as a former post said, Ad Astra was a memorable character for me. :-)
