Greetings from Thailand!

Postby Pirog » Sat Mar 26, 2005 2:30 pm

Although the great weather, the crystal clear water and the very inexpensive alcoholic beverages have kept my mind off Cantr for most of the time here I thought I would drop in and say a little hello :)

I got three more days in this paradise, but I'm allreay planning my next trip! I hope everything is well with all of you and that Cantr is running as smoothly as it did just before I left.

See you in the land of the green! :)

What city are you in, Pirog?

I'm curious to see if I've ever been there.-I think I'm going there this Summer.

The last time I went there, I lost one of my characters (from the 13 days of disconnect.) :(

Tisk tisk, Pirog. Better not be going there for the same reason the vast majority of tourists do.

That would be Amsterdam, but you're on the right track.

No actually Bangkok does have a much better reputation in that department. Amsterdam has a greener air.

I have been mostly on Koh Samui in the Chaweng area, but also on Koh Tao. Tomorrow I'm heading back to Bangkok for some shopping before returning home.

I can really recommend Koh Samui and Koh Tao if you haven't been there allready. They are both great places!
Koh Tao is a calm island with wonderful snorkling and Samui is a bit more hectic, with a really bustling main street and clubs along the beach. It is still very charming though.

Haha, no...that's not my style, although on Koh Samui you sure are presented with the alternative if you head up to the main bar street
It's not as dirty as it is in Europe though, so it doesn't bother me much. At least the "customers" here take their ladies out to dinner and stuff and treat them with respect. And one can never get tired of being called a "handsome man" by a whole crowd of cute girls
