Most Memorable Region/Town

Postby Genevieve » Sat Mar 26, 2005 6:44 am

Do you have a region or a town that has been particularly memorable for you personally?

A few of mine would include:

1. Drojf--my favorite character ever lived there, and so did many of my favorite character's of other people like El Adan, Silly, Taowyn, Cassandra, Joram, Vendor, Anna, Jaid, etc....many many others I can't even start to name.
2. Lad--come on, it was extreemly interesting to live there and totally believe in the system in the early days. I had a character who lived there from the time of the first Emperor and watched as the world changed around her. Charlie's death was the end of the end for her faith in the Empire.
3. Cantr City--the massacre of the town changed the life of one of my characters forever and I followed the happenings of William and his death and then Piers and his "evil" ways for many a year after that.

So those are my top three I think. Believe me, if you can't come up with them right away, they don't belong on this list.

*Don't forget, 4 day rule. Thanks!

I agree with Lad but also Quillinoi around the same period.

Tircqi
Blojt
Olipfirovash Forest
Quillanoi
Krif
Djorf Hills South
Drojf

The last three are memorable mainly because of my characters Nathan Holm and Darian Shade. I think all of use know or most of us know what they were famous for.

Tircqi has been memorable for this account for one of my characters that lives there now, it used to be a boring town for me until i got a stable character there.

Blojt for my forgotten character Chandos, the one removed from the history of the town, and his Lord Wu Tang and what they had accomplished there.

Quillanoi - Axhind was one of my favorite characters, the guard captain with a horrible attitude to his leaders and to the town leaders.. (reborn practically with a newer char of mine in Krif it seems.)

And last Olipfirovash Forest, this town had to be the best out of all of them back when all four clans were still there. My character Stone Waters was one of the original founders and was really fun to play him making the region and town he was in all the more fun and of course memorable.

I wanted tohelp create a fun place to live with many opportunities for conflict. It wasn't designed to be a "counselor" type government. It was planned that the 5 most active people that lived in the Forest would start their own clan and recruit people. No clan would be incharge of the Forest, but each Clan would be incharge of themselves. The Clan leaders never really got together for a vote, they each always just made their own decisions.

The four Clans were The Guardians of the Light, the Stonecutters, the Red Knights, and the Trade Federation. The Trade Federation disbanded, the Guardians of the Light were picked off by the other clans over a fight for colntrolling Mirovash, and the final 2 clans merged. So much for having multiple clans.

And that's how the Stone Knights came to be?

Yes, Sjoftich. :( *sighs*

And always dear to my heart.......

Drojf
Drojf Hills North
Zuzi
Siom
Blojt
Vrayllnuets Hills South
Karnon

Cantr City......I had one of my favourite chars murdered during the massacre. My first hearbreaking death. I have a char there now, but he doesn't like the city very much. It's still a ghost town, and has never recovered it's earlier glory or heart.

Yeah, I got some good memories from Pak. Basically that's where I learned the basics of Cantr since my other starting character spawned in a lonely region, and my third was in the Swedish region. Watching the mud fights may have been a bit confusing but people were really nice to li'l Seko. Yet another lost town?

Most of the Pakians from those days are now in Krif, actually.

I wouldn't really call that the 'old days', though. That was what, fifteen years ago?

Wow, wait. Was it really that long?

I would agree with Pok in the old days. Not the old old ;-) But when Mia, Theodore, Doc, OEnone, and others were around. Blythe was there too wasn't she? It was a fun place full of fun....but a lot of bad things happened. Eventually, one by one people died off near and dear to my heart. I doubt anyone shed a tear when my charried died though :-)

OEnone! Ooh, I miss those old days. My character in that area died during some attack, I think.

Oh yes, tears were shed and a massacre started in Blythes name. :( I forget the guys name. (Dmitri was it?) Warred because he felt noone cared that she had died. Things got really rough at that point. (Don't know what's going on there, now.)

I have to say, I was so freaking stunned to find that Terry(I think it was) still carried around Abbigail's weapon! I got to see that through another character.  I too miss the old days of Pok. They were delicious.

Last I was there, there was still a note containing names of the people from the first council, with all the road crews. *Sigh.*

Dimitri Bloodstaff...... I believe was his name. And things are still pretty rough in Pok.
