Cantr T-shirt Contest

Postby Nick » Mon Mar 21, 2005 10:05 pm

The Marketing Department is looking for designs to put on a batch of Cantr t-shirts. The website we intend to use, http://customink.com, is a website where you can create your own custom designs for t-shirts. Post the link to your created t-shirt here, and when there are enough submissions, the Marketing Department will choose several to be voted between on a poll in the near future. We will place an order for a batch of the forum's favorite t-shirt, provided there are enough orders for it; and the designer of the t-shirt we use will recieve a free one.

PS: Keep in mind the Marketing Department will only be accepting designs for the "Gildan 50/50 T" model shirt. Other designs will be discarded.

Here is a sample.

Tsk, tsk, space out the comma from the link, or else the site hyperlink won't work. :)

Yep, same difference.

Anyways, I can't read what it says on the back of the sample. (Of the one that says frontside: "Man in his Twenties." )

I like that design. And although I'd definitely buy a t-shirt... I'm not much help for designing one I'm afraid.

Erm... I'm not much for T-Shirts.

Now if you were to put out a green hoody with say... the cantr adress on the back, I'd be game.

it can be done!

I'd like to see more contest submissions; I did the sample almost a year ago, back before I was in the department.

We had a couple ideas about that shirt; we thought about making one for each demographc group (woman in her thirties, man in his fifties, man in his teens etc) but I think it'd be more interesting or thought provoking if everyone had the man in his twenties one.

You might say it's the most common sight when you first start playing cantr, and a girl or someone clearly not in their twentie wearing one of those would almost certainly have someone pay attention to whatever else is on the shirt (i.e. the URL).

Plus, you know, if you're under 21 in the States and want to buy alcohol, it may help to wear one of those shirts*.

Well I suppose it would help everyone recognize each other if we were to ever meet in real life. Not everyone wears green T-shirts with bright yellow writting on them.

How can you have 170-odd posts on this forum and not realise that it is supposed to be orange?

Cantr is orange!

Is that because Jos is dutch?

Actually, why is the colour scheme green and orange?

 Now look what you've done... got me questioning Cantr...

Are T-shirts a means of funding then? So will there be another way of paying for them than via Paypal? I can't use Paypal where I am.
