Has anyone ever met a character with one character then met the same character again with another character ages away from that location?

Yes.

And it puts a grin of my face when you actually get down to talking/getting to know them, and then you meet them again, and start all over.

Yes. Clara Danes being a notable example. Two different characters of mine have met her in two different locations quite far from each other.... the contexts are quite different as well. She remains very consistent in her personality and character and I applaud her player.

I've met Holly Brown with two different characters... both with opposite personalities, it was interesting. :D

I've sent one character on a quest to find salt and he has now passed through two towns where my other characters are asking if there is salt anywhere around. It's funny because I said it wasn't really that important. He is taking it pretty serious though.

Oh dear, don't get me started... This relates to the magnetic characters thread, now where did that go again?

One of my 'new crop' met Jame DeLeo in Blojt about 10 years ago.

For you young'ns, Jame DeLeo was originally a Drojf-area trader--little known fact, he lent El Adan the iron for his very first trowel. Thus was born the Drojf Town Hall and the Nossémma. He also had (I think) a fair part to play in a lot of the political intrigue of the time. I think he was a spy for (or in) the Forest.

I just hate it when someone walks into town and you recognize them as a criminal from one of your characters, only the current one of course doesn't know that and can't say anything or warn anyone.

Call me naive, but how? I had two chars in the same location for a while and I had to update names twice for both chars to know people.

Yeah, not really sure what you're going on about, Lumin.

Are you talking about a char both of your chars recognize but only one knows is a thief? Or just someone who one char knows is a thief introducing themselves elsewhere?

LOL, maybe I didn't make that very clear. I meant when someone walks into town and introduces themself, and you recognize them as the same jerk your other char had dealings with, only you can't do anything about it.

Oh right, I think you mean just from their name. Is that right?

I've met a LOT of characters with more than one character. This is because at least three of my characters are travellers-- they don't really have set homes. I also have quite a few who have met each other, though they don't usually speak to each other.
