Agar, the problem is we didn't see nor hear everything that happened in Krif Hills north. Korrigan arrived hour(s?) before us and attacked some animals, maybe starting a limestone project too, ending up in trouble.
833-6: Korrigan says: "Is there no way I can repay my debt to the Mac Gregor Clan but by death Mistress Seven?"
833-6: Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor) says: "Hm...That`s an interesting
question, Korrigan. Although your crime calls for death, your attitude shows you to be penitent. Perhaps you can stay here and do some work for us for a while."
833-6: Korrigan says: "*Looks up with a bit of hope* What would you have me do? I`ll do anything, I`ll clean the outhouse I dont care"
Until this point there was a hope of survival for all of us. But then happened a private discussion that changed everything.
833-6: You see a man in his thirties talking to Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor).
833-6: You see Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor) talking to a man in his thirties.
833-6: You see Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor) talking to a man in his thirties.
833-6: You see a man in his thirties hurt Korrigan using a crossbow.
833-6: You see a man in his thirties talking to Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor).
833-6: You see Korrigan being dragged from the central area of Krif Hills
(north) to Krif Storage Facility - Krif Hills (North) Expansion.
What was said in private is revealed in the logs in the Castle's library. I can't remember the exact quotes since I only read it once, but it was something like, our informative told these people were also hunging in the west hills. And Seven said that changes it, these people are repeating their crimes and deserve no second chance. They knew about what happened on the west hills since someone had told them, I don't remember seeing anyone leave but that's only because I'm missing logs on days 829 and 830, maybe removed them? Surely the message was passed legitimately though. If someone with access to the records could quote those logs?
We might not been screwed up at that point, since only Korrigan had hunted in north hills too, right in front of their noses. But alas, we were still on the road and didn't see the incident. So you got vocal.
833-6: Don Naugh says: "We haven`t done anything! You will let Dove and myself go, you Mac Gregor Barbarians!"
833-6: Misstress Seven (Mac Gregor) says: "you mean you HADN`T done anything."
Uh, oh. Big mistake... Though I can't blame you, I might have said something stupid had I been online. So the timezone problem may have saved my character's life.
Maybe voicing out your confusion in a more polite manner would have helped, but of course people get shocked seeing their friend getting shot and jailed for no apparent reason.
833-6: Don Naugh says: "We have just arrived! We didn`t hunt or anything here! What law have we broken other than be targets of your tyranny! What the hell is a Sassenach anyway?!?!"
Do I need to continue?

She cahsed my one time theif Abantangelo. Ahh, good times. I just hope I don't find my way back and have Cross go on some vigilante mission.
And I do have to say that she enjoyed the chase... *sighs* Right now she is depressed.. Doesn't talk much to anyone at all...

Tycho Celchu: he's a quiet man working the bottom of the ladder at the DHN manufacturing place. its so awesome to RP there
Corran Horn: started his own clan, is very passionate about it and is slowly getting a following.
Abatangelo: a one time theif who turned his life around when he met Cayla. They are working on starting a business while he tries to forget his past.
Corporal Fiamma: Bottom end in the Karnon Imperial Army. Currently stationed in West Kol
Andre Trammel: one of my favorite Chars to rp. He is mentally retarded and works for Vandal Cain in a trading business.
High Priest Alric Von Beetterman: long stupid name I know, but I was really bored. He is starting his own religion in Djorf. Got himself arrested in the process![]()
Donny El Potatoe: Not even going into it
Abatangelo.. Not only has Vicki chased him... But now he is being helped by another one of my chars.. *laughs* Does Zach ring a bell?

"Pup" wasn't my first dog, he was my first dog to survive long enough to upset the PD.
Don Naugh wasn't a dog. He just followed Korrigan wthout looking at what maps he had close enough to realize the danger he was in.
I've had more recent characters pass through the MacGregors territory, and I must say I'm pleased with how they've fallen. Give me a small sense of satisfaction.

Lol as a matter of fact it does. Ironic that one of them hunts me down, the other takes me in to rest.

Yes it is.. Good thing he cares, even if he did know about your past. He would give you a second chance.. He too has fallen in love, and was supposed to be married already but that was during the major lag.. *sighs* Need to get back on schedule..

Seko's pretty much got this pinned. You can't do something as stupid as what Don did and then blame the Mac Gregors for enforcing their own laws. "I read enough to know that they're Mac Gregors but not enough to know that they might object to being called barbarians" pretty much ruins whatever case you may have had.
To my knowledge the Mac Gregors never killed any 'dog' character, or are you confusing which one was which?
One thing I love is how this forum seems to increase OOC hatred of the Mac Gregors which inevitably bleeds into IC hatred of them. They're really not evil, just strict, and if you're not a dumbass like Agar's char there you'll get along splendidly. The pride and honor of the Mac Gregor clan (extremely titchy, mind you) has many IRL precedents. I personally find them a bright light of realism in an otherwise somewhat boringly soft area.
Course, I could be biased

Glen's not a Mac Gregor. Whole different kettle of fish. Besides, didn't he sail off into the sunset years ago?
Besides, if nobody ever finds out about it, then nobody should know/care that it wasn't animals, and if you let that influence your chars (or others') opinions of Glen or the Mac Gregors, well, that's just shoddy RP.

Not really... OOC info affects my OOC perceptions of things. That's not bad RP. It's when you get your OOC and IC mixed up where you have problems.
