It's true he could never compete with Dirt so instead he just tried to make it look nicer. There you go, thats his whole life in a sentence!

I'd like to see it, but a mapmaker seems like a naieve profession if the entire island (known world, to them) is already mapped.

My prediction is that shortly searoutes will show up on maps, ultimately connecting the world of Cantr. It only takes one person to make it to get it all rolling!

Both "main" islands are connected, and soon to connect the third original island to those two as well, as you know. K-island has also made contact with the "main" islands, so it's theoretically possible to make a map with Krif island, Lad island, Dhung island, and K island all on it.

But only when one of my chars have seen a map will I know in my heart that Cantr is indeed totally explorable.

I didn't mention the alternate language groups, Aki island, Burneo, or any of the unexplored islands. Even if a known world map is compiled, there's still a lot to go.

The one of Krif that looks like parchment is labelled "My favorite map" or somesuch in my character's inventory.... even though it's not a map of any island she's ever been to.

That'd be my favorite kind of map too...a map of an entire world you know next to nothing about.

And it probably came with the ship from Naron(ish).
