Decay reset!

Postby Lumin » Wed Mar 02, 2005 2:38 pm

Yay!

Did this just happen or is it old news and I haven't been paying attention?

Jos said he was going to reset all deterioration before anything important was lost.

I must have missed that. The last promise I heard was that we would have maintenace before things were lost and I figured that had slipped. Degredation without maintenance or repair wouldn't be so bad...

Damn, I made quite a few trades based on my characters fear of losing their item. Damnit, damnit, damnit!

Well that explains a few things...

Perhaps I should read the forums before I log on, rather than the other way around. :)

This is very good news. Cause Duncan has been trying to figure out how to repair his bows for a long time. Cant sell bows that are falling apart you know

i know i'm gonna get hit hard for this, but i don't know if the decay reset was really a good idea, especially since some bows have been lost already. plus as someone pointed out, people have been working under the assuption that decay would take it's course, making trades and value judgements based on it.

maybe if it had come earlier it would have been ok.

I know this might not be the topic for this specifically, but I am interested from staff for A) when the new server will be installed and B) when fixing will be implemented.

A rough, but reasonable timeframe is requested. Thanks :)

p.s. (Not to sound rude, but it not be random people making random guesses)

That's so wrong! Resetting decay? Seriously, what's the point of it if it's not going to run its course?
