K Island historical question

Postby Okud » Tue Mar 01, 2005 9:32 am

I wonder, since the K Island is newer, how did it get populated in the first place? Did settlers arive from someplace else, or did the PD setup a few spawning locations? I think I shouldn't ask this question IC, since it involves spawning locations.

Before this switch, Karnon Forest was the biggest town on the island, even though it didn't have any newspawns. That's also what made it a fun town; no newspawns.

For the iron, (Blackrock) of course. Oh, what the heck, a brief timeline:

Haldir Blerks banned limestone at the time, in order to make up for Karnon's banning of the iron in KF.

Soon enough, the Forest declared independence from the Karnon Empire, freeing iron.

However this led to such troubles as Aries (I believe the name was) massacring the less geared.

The people of the Collective helped manage KF in following years.

Karnon did try to take KF back over, led by Ace Grant, who died in his failed attack.

And in this time, TBR grew more powerful, and they clashed with the old Collective.

Now, you can see where that has led.

It was Hailey Blerks. Not Haldir. Whoever that is! :P

Ace grant didn't just 'die'. And supposedly all his troops died. Dropped dead. Don't beleive that though! :P :)

I apologize, it is Haily Blerks. I wrote that too early in the wee morning.

I don't believe you did the history of KF justice. Didn't even mention the no government years, or Mason's execution.

I spoke in generalizations, and of course I wouldn't know every last detail about the forest. Afterall, I've never had a character that lived there. ;)

Plus, I was confident you'd mention it. :P

K hist 101

Postby g1asswa1ker » Sat Mar 12, 2005 7:46 pm

You left a lot out of that history nick. You also wrote it to look like you never did anything evil...

kwor was first established as a free town no gov nothing but free people helping each other.

Haily berk killed everyone that opposed her gov.

nick joins tribe blackrock.

nick ascerts himself as co leader of the tribe.

KF free them selves from K

KF establishes them selves a council

fire cam shows up and builds a building in record breaking time.

KF council and firecam have issues...

tribe shows up in KF

nick is very sneak about a lot of stuff...

kirinn establish a religion.

I don't have the whole histroy but this is a rough of what I know and have seen... I'm sure there are others who can add to it...

I've never really liked Karnon...

And I'm pretty sure that Karnon Monastery was built in a similarly quick time as the Firecam building. And was in fact the third building there, I believe.

Not to mention it's sheer size... I think it has around 8 internal rooms.
