Let's badger Anthony until he gives us some clothes we like. :D

Better yet I want to design my own clothes. A cotton skirt is a cotton skirt with however many grams of cotton cloth. Why can't I write my own description of what it looks like as long as I don't add anything like iron buttons?

I made this suggestion in the clothing suggestions thread (using necklaces as the example) but no one has replied to it yet and Anthony never replied to the other thread about clothing descriptions (Snakeskin What?)

Sarah, yours is the definite winner so far. Bravo! :D The best mine could manage was:
silk slippers
silk stockings
silk dress

She'd kill for a daisy crown, but then those sea captains who trade from Siom to Drojf never bring daisies, only limestone - the second bulkiest material in the game after sand. Amazing how they somehow sense that the Drojfian control-freaks need limestone from all those zillions of sea-miles away. One after the other they come... only bringing limestone. What marvellous esp they have! :wink:

So then, no daisy crown for my favorite "gurl"... :cry:

Kinvoya, that would be nice, but I just don't think it would work; it would just turn into a huge headache for the PD, and a huge annoyance for a lot of the regular players. CR breaching descriptions, inappropriate descriptions, badly spelled descriptions, and on and on and on...

I have one that has really started to collec the clothes

Here is her favorite outfit

A corset with leather skirt with a slit and thigh high leather boots with iron bracelets.

Other clothes to change into are a fur cloak, silk shirt, pair of clogs, feather earrings, silk dress, wool cloak, silk robe and a coconut bra!

I like Sarah's second combo. Very 80s neo-punk! 8)

# a heavy set of brown and black coarse furs, from various creatures with thick warm pelts, sewn together in a patchwork cloak, which is worn wrapped loosely around the body concealing any clothing beneath;

# a set of form fitting pants made of cured leather cover the legs. They seem well stitched and durable;

# a pair of boots fashioned out of leather with cords of leather to fasten them securely around the ankle. They rise about a hand above the ankle and are thicker about the heel for more support;

# two short lengths of decorated leather that cover the wearers wrists;

# a small piece of bone has been carved down to fit smoothly around ones finger
_________________________________________________________________

# a hat of carefully cleaned animal fur. It covers the head well and looks warm;

# a coat of finely woven hemp fiber droops down almost to the knees, fitting tightly around the body;

# a sleevless hemp garment that half covers the hips and is held together at the front by some ties;

# a pair of pants made from a course hemp fibre;

# a pair of thick hemp gloves that seem designed for hard work and bitter cold, made of a tough looking material.

Those are my two best dressed.

Darren has one character that I really think has some neat clothes.

Bam Bam BooDaddy;
- a tall hat, cylindrical in shape, with a brim all the way round, that wobbles and balances precariously on top of the wearers head;
- a coat of finely woven hemp fiber droops down almost to the knees, fitting tightly around the body;
- a sleevless hemp garment that half covers the hips and is held together at the front by some ties;
- a set of form fitting pants made of cured leather cover the legs. They seem well stitched and durable;
- a pair of finely sewn, snug fitting, soft leather gloves;
- a pair of boots fashioned out of leather with cords of leather to fasten them securely around the ankle. They rise about a hand above the ankle and are thicker about the heel for more support

I found out my mate's best one:

feathered hat
cotton hombre
leather pants
snakeskin boots
copper bracelets
silver ring with a big diamond
tortoiseshell ring
a pair of leather gloves
silver diamond necklace

Bit snooty if you ask me! ;) I'm not sure if he wears all of that at once?

I assume you mean a man who robbed a hide bikini, which he wears.

Might not be a good idea to tell everyone that, because now when someone sees a man in his twenties in a bikini- they might make a presumption about it being your character thief.

Officials report a marked increase in Cantrian transvestite beatings, a 15% increase from Day 1080.

I'm glad one of my guys didn't go through with making that coconut bra.

Thats one of my chars! The silver jewellery isn't for him!!

I also have a healer character with the following!

Feather Headdress
Leather Skirt
Leather Vest
Feather Bracelets
Thigh length boots
Bone Necklace (I think! Can't check at the mo)

All i need is a bit of Iron for some earings and she's happy!

They're my 2 favourites. Everyone should wear clothes, it adds so much and is loads better for getting a picture in your head of the character you're RPing with!.
