Oh, well it's been so long now I don't remember how to do it or my password or anything.
Plus, also, it made me take down my firewall so I was kind of glad to get rid of it.
How come everytime I try to use the link from Cantr and then I get that page that says, "Click here to download plugin" and then I click and it says, "No suitable plugins were found?" This also always happens with other sites that have this same kind of plugin search page.

Okay I just went through the worst 25 minutes of my life. I went to try and figure out how to start a yahoo chat for us and well got over 40 offers to check out websites from random people. ewwwwwwwwww.
I feel, ummm, ewwww.
I need help people. how do you start a yahoo chat thingy. I never want to go through that ever again.
I was going to tell people to check out cantr but well, I just, I didn't want to let those kind of people know about it. Does that make me a bad person?
HA HA!
Okay, I figured it out and well I am still a little foggy on it but I will keep trying.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a "Chat" menu ontop of your friend's IM list and you can create new chat: inviting who you'd like from your friend's list. It'll be a voice chat and will end when everyone leaves the room.Colonel wrote:Okay I just went through the worst 25 minutes of my life. Speaking of IRC . . . is it always slow for everyone, or just me? I mean . . . I've tried IRC several times in the past, and *if* I got in, it took 15 minutes for anything to appear on my screen.
Really, that's not too much of an exaggeration, so I just gave up on it. Is it because I have dial-up Internet? I'm used to DSL, but we moved and only dial-up is available.
Oh, and whenever I try the link from Cantr, I get "Unable to connect : java.net.NoRouteToHostException : Operation timed out."

Erm.. nope. Because they're not our fault. We've probably got one of the least bot-infested IRC networks of all. Partly because it bans bots of any kind.
If you do encounter that sort of thing while on the official IRC channel, contact whichever op happens to be in the channel, or contact DALnet themselves. Bots aren't permitted on that network.
