Cantr Convention (NOT IN CANADA)

Ok. I was looking over the other cantr convention thread. And well. From what I can gather. Lots of people want this to happen. The catch is. Alot of us can't get to Canada for various reasons. So instead I propose that another be held else where. Although I do not have an idea in mind. I can plan this thing out really well by listening to everyones idea. The main problem I can think of is we all don't live on the same street. *starts to pack bags* But seriously. So I guess for the first part of this planning. We need to find out where everyone is at that would really like to participate in this. Me I live in east Tennessee which is in America if you don't know. For me right now going to Canada is out of the question. And its farther for other people as well. So right now things are open for suggestions. I'd like to see this happen. But its gonna take everyone's help in making it happen.

I'll post more ideas as they come to me.

I am not far from Tennessee.. I am in south east Virginia.. Anywhere not to far would be nice.. don't have any ideas though..

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say that actually. But. If it comes to it we can make a raft right. *looks around for 10kilos of wood to make a longboat out of*

Hmm. . . I read somewhere today that they're building an underwater hotel off the coast of Florida. . . maybe the middle of the Atlantic will be next!

i think whereever a cantr convention is held it'll be far away for most of the people. therefore canada is probably as good a place as any, even though i probably won't be able to schlep myself all the way there.

If you're going to have a convention it should be safe to assume you shouldn't expect a very large group to show up.

My suggestion to all of you that want to meet is, to go to a travel agent and find a package deal where everyone chips in on a cruise. AT LEAST that way if it turns out none of you like each other you still get to have fun on the cruise. :lol:

I was waiting to see how the Canada convention pans out... but I am up for attending a UK convention. I think there are enough players in the UK, and close enough together, to justify suggesting a UK convention.
