Lots of people dying lately

Postby SekoETC » Sun Feb 20, 2005 11:34 am

This is within four days but I suppose not mentioning places or character names should make it alright. I'm speaking on the universal level - what is it with all the people dying in the last few days? Not just sleepers but active people, dying within hours of their last action. Has some mystic stat been implemented - could all our characters be in danger? Obviously the people dying have no idea of it before they drop dead. And they should be with enough food. Is this some sort of a bug?

Agar - I saw your character dying. What the hell happened? Did you misclick the X or something? OMG what the hell is going on??!!

Yeah, it's one thing to see sleepers dropping, but when active characters start dying off in the middle of conversations, that's really sad. I hope it's not going to become a trend.

It might be the tiredness factor. I've never filled the bar completely, but I could only assume that you could die from exahstion. It wouldn't be unbeliveable, seeing as how our fantisy game becomes more realistic. A working cycle of retardedness.

I've seen many people with 100% tiredness, it can't be that. As sad as it sounds, it must be just a coinsidense. Maybe a couple of accidents, come accounts timed out. But for god's sake make it so that no one can delete someone else's account just because they would happen to forget to log out! Like said elsewhere, the X might look like a logout button, especially if people can't see the alt text (not using IExplorer). I don't know what the confirmation looks like, never had the courage to test.

The conformation button is the large arrowhead, like the ones when you create a project for something like a stone pot....

Everyone needs to calm down about this. It may be a bug. Then it could be a few people with lots of charrys just up and quit. Although an entire list of people dying does sound strange. No since in getting paranoid or worked up over this. *remains calm and backs out of the room slowly still smiling the closes the door behind him gently then you hear the sounds and feet running down the hall and Dragon's voices screaming"its all over there is no hope we are all dooooommmmmedd!!!!!!!!"

There are various reasons why lists of characters have been dying....it's not new, nor is it reason to panic or get paranoid.......but no, it's not a bug. Some people just lose their accounts, by choice, one way or another.

It was sad to see Agar leave so suddenly. I do hope he comes back some day. And to anyone else out there, who is maybe frustrated with the server speed, or other factors.........please be patient. We don't want to lose you too. Things will improve, eventually.

That was the... wrong answer to our ears methinks... A bug would be easier to take than sudden deaths...

Well, that was...sudden. :(

Does anybody know the reason, or is this one of those things we're not talking about?
