Hunger visability

Postby Where are all the monkeys » Sun Feb 20, 2005 11:23 pm

It would be useful to be able to see how hungry a person is.I don't mean the meter, that would be too exact, but it would be more realistic if , when somebody hadn't eaten for a year, if it said somthing in their character description like " A women in her twenties, she looks skin and bones" or somthing along those lines

YES!

*ahem*

we get to see damage and tiredness (and the other one - what was that again?)

We should be able to see hunger - to be able to feed hungry people etc...

Especially useful for keeping your factory of slaves alive *cackles*

Yes, yes, totally!! It was damn annoying to look at Maline's description in the end, it doesn't have much effect telling people that she's goddamn emanciated when the description says "looks strong". Damnit, she couldn't even walk and the goddamn description... *bangs her head in the table*

Good idea! It kind of sucks when someone falls over from hunger right next to you, and there's no way to even notice their skin was hanging off their bones. (Not that most of my characters would care overly much about sleepers, but there's at least one who gets a little upset when the daily anonymous newspawns die, and she's probably make an effort to feed anyone who was starving...)

And it would create an actual purpose for the 'strong' and 'weak' descriptions again, though of course there'd have to be a a few stages in between them.

Absolutely! I've said this before, but we should also be able to tell what sort of conditon a corpse is in, so we can take a reasonable stab at the cause of death. Often , the first time you think to look at a character's stats is after they drop dead- and it's too late then.
