New Music?

Maybe it's because before I moved to my mom's house, my dad listened to country, wouldn't let me have any of my own music tastes, and forbid my sisters ever to play good music in the car. I mean, my sister's still did, but I wasn't allowed to listen to the radio! Anyway, I like pop music. I'll shout it from the roof tops! It's not always bad. I LIKE POP MUSIC!!! LMAO Well there, I said it! :lol:

Oh well thanks, Solfius! LOL I have my own tastes. I also like things from very W I D E (LOL) range of genres. I like Frank Sinatra (thanks mom! :roll:

) Aretha Franklin, and oh! That song that they used to play when the Chicago Bulls won a game (back when they were good) the one where the only word they say in the whole song is "HEY!" You know that one? Well we still have the 1996 CD from that year and they song's on it (as well as the Macarena :roll:

) Oh yeah! It's called "Rock n' Roll, Part 2" Anyway, I love that song for some reason! LOL

any CD with the Macarena on it cannot be in any way related to rock. Sorry, but the two just don't go together...EVER!!

LOL It was the Bulls '96 CD--I mean, there's bunches of different stuff there. But when I was younger I am sad to admit that I did like the Macarena, and had the CD (but stopped listening to it after I was 9) until 6th grade when I traded it for a good CD. The person I traded it to is a little whako but is great none-the-less. =)

I'm mostly into Electroclash lately, like the Faint, Ladytron, Soviet, Peaches, and Fischerspooner. But I have alot of industrial, alternative, old punk and even some new chipmusic on my playlist.

Also good that another person likes pop music. Seems most poeple are hostile to pop music nowadays. However, I must say that my type of pop or classic rock is very artist specific. See past posts.

sammigurl61190. Congrats on liking Justin Timberlake. I knowSolfius has an everlasting grudge on Michael Jackson and Justin. That's a shame. Isn't that right Solfius. I get him back by making fumn of *cough* AC/DC.

I realize that I made a mistake about the name of "Bring me to Life" and I'm sorry. :-)

Yes, I am a big Chicago Bulls fan. People seem very hostile about pop music, when some of it is actually very good. I'm not as artist specific, I'm more song specific. So that's why Solfius has been, well, a little touchy on the Justin subject. I myself don't like Micheal Jackson's music too much, but some are okay. However, I am a little frightened of him--LOL. But then again, America is the only place where a poor black boy can grow up to be a beautiful rich white woman. :wink:

And he likes AC/DC?? Then he has no right to complain about them! I mean they are pretty terrible....LOL

And Solfius, I can do the laugh too. I invented the laugh.

But Michael Jackson did not turn into a woman. He is a man and a very cool man. But that's my opinion since I'm a fanatic. I'm excited since I might see Justin later on next year.

Most people tease me since I'm a boy and I like what I like. And quite intensely. Solfius likes to ridicule my tastes. :cry:
