Is Cantr IRC dead?

Postby formerly known as hf » Sat Jan 29, 2005 3:45 pm

"Pulse rate down to 20, blood presure falling, currently at 100 over 60"

*gets and oxygen mask and starts resuscitationa ttempt*
"Give me 2.5 milligrams or atropine"

"Pulse rate still low, blood pressure fallin, we're lossing him"

"No, Damn it, NO!, I will not have anything die on my shift - two more milligrams*

*heart monitor emits a continuous high pitched beep*

"Turn that thing off nurse" *picks up a large tool and proceeds to crack open the ribcage*

"It's lost doctor"

"I said no!* *starts to manually pump the heart*

"doctor, we've lost it" *looks at his watch* "Time of death...

Don't the Cantr IRC channel die - get on there - now!

The ol' Kitchener propaganda ain't pulling me into going back- there.

I never did like IRC, using (yahoo/aol) instant messenger is much easier.

Yeah okay okay, in a minute. Or after I've had lunch (and having lunch at 8 pm is quite normal on weekends). I've been to the channel some times during the last few days but there's usually no one on exept Rev and Grez and they're sleeping.

A few people seem to be having trouble connecting, we need somekind of 'IRC workshop' :)

I would say your best option is to download an IRC programme - X-Chat, mIRC or the like... I know I've had problems with the applet before...

I had my computer completely rebooted not to long ago, so I had to download the mirc again. Once in, it connected me through some random server, and when I'd type #cantr, there was no one ever in there. But then I changed my server conection DAL.net, because I remembered that worked before, and when I type #cantr, everyone is there. So maybe some of you might need to change the server.

No I can never connect to the server. I just keep timing out.

EDIT: It's just the DALnet server I can't get on all the rest seem to work.

Yeah, maybe that would help if I was a freaking idiot.
But last time I checked I wasn't. It just won't connect to Dal.net
