Site sooooo sloooow...

Or is it only at my end?

Seems like my minutes are all used loading the pages.

It's incredibly slow for me, too today.

Ah well, one day soon, there will be the New Server, and all will be right with the world!

Ahhh...!

It really is slow. And I thought it was bad yesterday..

I might just give up for the day. Hopefully nothing will happen, if everyone else is in the same situation as me... :?

I literally spent over half a day just trying to log in and check on my characters...

You mean like three hours?

Same here. I spent 14 real-time minutes just loading a page at one point. I've got 30 left, that's all. My characters just are not going to succeed in
fulfilling all their obligations today. It just isn't possible, even if the server miraculously speeds up.

Just to draw out the agony, the current Cantrian day seems set to last about two real-time days, at the current rate of progression.

I suppose it will only make matters worse if we all get allocated extra minues to compensate? and it will spoil the game if we don't.

Oh no! It gets worse.

I've got a bug to report, but I just found out that I've got to log in to report it, so even more of those precious minutes will be dripping away, as I do so, presumably.

I can't report it on this forum instead can I?

Of course you don't need to be logged in to report a bug!

Use the "General support" forum or Flyspray if it's something that can't be exploited. Write an e-mail to bugs@cantr.net if it's something that can be exploited.

I'm sorry for all the speed problems. It annoys me a lot too. Both playing and doing admin stuff is horrible this way. But I am too busy in real life at the moment to invest enough time in transferring server, so for now we'll just have to live with it ... Donations definitely help, though, and hopefully I can manage to move in March or so.

It is truly sad that a once great game is now virtually unplayable.

I don't know the first thing about programming, but couldn't these problems have been anticipated before all of the changes were made?
