Yes... more tools as weapons... how come you can attack with a dung fork but not a hammer?

I think there's rolling pins... and maybe if a frying pan was added someday...

How about a shield or a project that you can do that will add spikes to an already existing one. iron spikes for iron shield and bone spikes type dealio.

Ooh...that one actually sounds feasable. And while it's kind of silly, it's not too bad.

There is already a spiky shield, methinks. Or at least that is how I imagine it looks like...

How about throwing knives? They would take slightly longer to make thana standard knife, as they would have to be better balanced, but they would have the potential to deal significantly greater damage. However, there would be a small chance every time that you would lose it, and a smaller chance every time that it would end up in the enemys inventory

We have a large amount of heavy swords already, how about more light weapons e.g. a rapier?

I want a rapier...

What is this "heavy sword" business? Aren't swords almost intolerably light? A saber that weighs 120 or so grams is a pretty darn light sword. Considering that swords in reality generally weigh upwards of 2kg, and even rapiers aren't that light.
I'd like to see some HEAVY weapons, actually. Weapons that take a large amount of resources instead of a pittance of high quality resources. For lack of a better concept, a pike, which would take a lot of wood and some iron.

The weight scale is different on Cantr. 15000 grams = about 33 pounds. Now, when you carry weight around in real life, you can carry MUCH more than 33 pounds. Armour can easily wieght more than 33 pounds.

Weapons and everything else in Cantr has it's own scale and should just be left alone.
Reality was never my strong point.

Well I know you can attack with a targe. But it has no spikes on it... and it doesn't do damage when someone attacks you.

Have you ever actually seen a claymore? They'll not small weapons.

Well said.

My point was that the weapons recently implemented (which are cool by the way, this is not criticism) are in real life big weapons. I just wanted a sword (that is quite common in RL) for those of my characters that I don't believe would wield such huge weapons.
