I don't think its too big a deal. I have never actually had any of my charrys in the act. But came very close on more than one occasion. And a couple getting closer. I play ic and I think like I am that person when I am on the charrys screen. Don't let your own thinking interfer with your charrys thinking.
I am the Dragon Slayer. And as long as I have my friends behind me. I will never fall.

I'm a big believer in FTB - Fade To Black. That moment in a film when they both go into the bedroom, but instead of showing you all the unnecessary gory details, the scene just fades to black. Everybody knows what's going on without having to be told.
In all the roleplay I've ever done (which is quite a considerable amount of table top, internet and live) FTB has been found to be the best way of dealing with it. You get all the romance and emotional intimacy, but you avoid anybody feeling awkward or uncomfortable.
Cantr doesn't currently seem to have anything like that built in, because there is no "down time" like there is in most role play. I'm looking forward to the introduction of children, especially if there's a button to press and then random chance whether conception occurs. A button like that would make a very convenient FTB, especially as presumably both people would have to use it, so it could be brought in at a mutually agreeable point.

Fade to black... Now I sometimes wish I could do that. Since the moment it gets too far it's really hard to think about anything to write. Why should we make it look like a porn film with a perfect ending where they both climax at the same time, moaning in passion, when no one else is going to see it?

I find it depends a lot on the "chemistry" you have with the other player.
I have had some quite graphic sexual moments in Cantr and often don't mind it at all...but once I did and it just felt...wrong. Not that the player of the other character was acting like it bothered her/him or that I crossed some kind of line (I always ask OOC where they want to draw it), but I somehow just felt that it wasn't proper. I got shy
Strangely, that was with my thought-to-be casanova character...so I had some quite good sex in mind for him when I created him

It would be if the goal would be to get aroused as a player...but I don't think that is a goal for anyone here...at least I hope not. That would be creepy.
Besides in my humble views I think it's just kinda cheesy when all you've got is asterisks to play around with.

Well.. I'm sure some of us do. Just don't ask me to name names... =P
Are you kidding?
Just the other day I heared a small child telling his mother, "Mummy, when I grow up I want to Anthony Roberts." True story.
