I'll remember it always because because there is nothing sweeter than tiny little arms wrapping around a dad's neck and tiny little lips kissing him on the cheek. They love unconditionally.
I hope you have a chance to experience that kind of love someday.

I don't think you're thinking deep. I think you're trying to be humorous. I don't get how it sounded creepy when I was talking about bed time prayers in the same sentence has little arms and lips. But, I don't know your background or where you're coming from.

Perhaps it does send up red flags for you. I think that's more of a reflection of your background than reality, though. Perhaps you aren't accustomed to fathers showing affection for their children. That's too bad.
I think that type of reaction is indicative of the culture these days. It's interesting I think that people are suspicious of acts of love and talk about love, yet condone, even brag about disgusting things.
Social Moth, that's not directed toward you. I see nothing wrong with you being humorous. Also, if you've been hurt in the past by bad people I feel for you and I'm sorry to hear it. If you're kidding, that's cool too.

Just got to warn you though... once they hit puberty, or around them, they're unpredictable. At least that's how it was for me... I remember telling my mom that I'd always agree with her and never get mad, etc., but now. I don't know... it's a weird age.

Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

Yep...I remember hitting that age. That's why I'll try not to forget the younger years.
Man, I used to get into some good ones with my dad. I remember doubling up my fist on him once. He told me that if I hit him I'd better kill him with it, because if I didn't there'd be heck to pay. Needless to say, I never actually made a swing at him...physically.
