Cantr Holidays

Postby Riddrev » Sat Dec 25, 2004 8:52 am

I was just curious if any kind of holidays are celebrated in the game. I think I saw a note saying something about an anniversery but that is it.

Yes, Lad used to celebrate holidays every -30 and -80th day of the calender, I don't recall the actual names of them, or if they're still celebrated.

Krif celebrates every 100th day, or 5 years, "Anthony is Awesome" day where they sacrifice a virgin to me.

Siom celebrates "Praise Anthony" day, on the last day of every year.

Kwor celebrates "Anthonymas" every 365 days, where they give everyone a sabre blade (Ie: Stab each other) and can get away with it.

And, we can't forget Doryiskom. They enjoy their "Seatime Anthony Festival" where they construct boats, put on a lot of offerings (Ie: Food, Gold, Iron, Steel, Virgins) and send it off to the depths of my watery domain found going direction 448 from any location (Yes, 448.)

I'm praised everywhere. I enjoy it. In return, I don't smite them. Too bad Longinazy doesn't follow my way. I'll have to smite them with something terrible... I've got it! A sneezing epidemic. Oh yeah :D

Don't worry, I already did report it to the Player's Department. ;)

But it seems he already bribed the whole Department with donuts. >.<

I'm both! I'm both!

I am full of myself, but that's only because I want to be even MORE too good to be true. Because I really am too good to be true. If you all truely knew how I am, you'd all be in awe.

Seriously though, I can't figure out how a holiday would apply to Cantr. There's not many items I'd associate with partying, and if you told everybody to stop working for the day they'd probably complain because you're putting them behind in production. Good grief, there's not even *alcohol* yet. (though with the drunkeness bar I can certainly hope...) :p
