i suppose this would normally go in the support thread, but i can't get into that.
i have a map here on my computer. it's not big or impressive or even done, but i'd like to get it on the note in case my character gets killed by lions... that way instead of a note that says (insert piccy here) there will actually be a picture.
how do i do that? do i use HTML and upload the picture to my own server? or do i have to go through Cantr? and should i get it finished or mostly finished first?

You have to let Cantr staff upload the picture for you. Putting files on your own server is discouraged. There are no restrictions as to how complete the map should be, that's something that your character should decide. You can always update it later, if you wish. Just make sure that you are not using any OOC knowledge, such as knowledge gathered by several characters rather than just one.
In order to get your map uploaded, attach it to an e-mail to programming@cantr.net . Once it is uploaded, you'll be informed and you'll get a URL that you can include in notes.

one more question... about how long does it take to get a URL from the programming department? it's been three days... is this normal or did i send the email wrong? i basically sent an email with my email address as the body and the JPG image attached.
