25 hour days
I'm probably the only one who feels this way since no one else has mentioned it...(except for Sparkle, maybe
but I just wanted to go on record stating that I really dislike the 25 hour days. I personally prefer the turn change coming at the same time everyday. It doesn't matter what that time is........as long as it is the same time.
So....that's my 2 cents.

I have no problems with the twenty-five hour cantrian day. I've always had my characters view hour 0 (or 1 until recently) as early early morning, and hour 7 ( 8 ) as nearing midnight-ish.
So even if I were playing at 3am here in Maine, if it were hour 5, my characters wish a cheery afternoon to everyone. On a 25 hour clock, this means that my characters won't always be active at the same cantr times, which allows them a little variety in greetings: Good morning! Bon soir! etc...
Not that it's a major deal to me or anything...

I always thought cantr were something synchronous to real time...
Is it really a 25 hour day?
Is this the reason that when i come home for work and login to cantr and go hunts some animals it often says that i can only hunt once a day, while i hunted at the same time the day before?
I always thought well maybe the turn shifted 10 minutes earlier of i hunted 10 minutes earlier the day before, but if there's a shit in time it would explain a lot.
Anyway if time isn't synchrone to real time, what's the reason for that? I think is quite anoying, from the hunting and working part because i mostly login at the same time each day... Its usefull to know that a day has passed. Well of course cantr is not the real world and time can be different but why?
I also dont notice a difference in day or night. I only use the days and hourse to keep track of time, but for the rest it has no meaning...

I never really thought about that...
So, 36 minutes in an hour and 8 hours a day... Each day is only 288 minutes? So each year is only 4 RL days? I'm confused now, what am I missing?
Is, for example, 1000-1 a day and 1000-2 considered another day? I thought the -(#) was the hour.
Or, am I thinking about this incorrectly, and this is just talking about time in Cantr?...So a minute in this quotation isn't meant to be equivalent to a "real" minute? Does anyone even know what I am talking about, or am I crazy?

I could be wrong but I think 1 Cantr min is 3 min and about 20 sec in RL
I read some where on here that 1 cantr hours is roughly 3 RL hours.
and 1 Cantr day is roughly one RL day.
It appears to be 25 RL hours long but I have never worked it out. If it is my guesses above would be wrong as they are based on a 24 day.
Is it clear as mud, now?

The game clock being changed to a 25-real-life-hour-day was actually not intentional to start with. It was a programming error, or so I heard. However, it was decided that it was a good idea to leave it that way. And I agree with them.
Cantr minutes never were the same as a real life minute. Never have been.
