Hmm, am I really wrong that these things make exploration and sailing etc. much less interesting? Potatoes weren't discovered in Europe before South America was 'discovered', isn't it? I mean, even very basic things sometimes come from abroad. There is already loads and loads of sailing going on, many islands are being discovered, so it's only a matter of time for regular trading routes to new islands to be set up, and those new islands will have the new resources. There is a lot of land outside the currently inhabited lands - it's the resources that make those lands interesting atm.

New resources and hot native girls.
Can't forget the hot native girls.
Hot Native Girl: "Hallo, do you like mine co-co-nut bra?"
Explorer: "No, take it off"
Hot Native Girl: "O-Kee!"
Explorer: "OHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Explorer 2: "Mac! I found some precious gemstones!"
Explorer: "What do I care. BOOBIES!"
Hot Native Girl: "Teeheehee"

EXACTLY
Tell RKL to take the resource he put on K-isle back off. I have a better way to get that type of thing. *jump jump*

Of course, people in real life can transplant organic resources. But since different soil types, climates or seasons are not coded in Cantr, exotic resources are simply made nearly unattainable.
Reality was never my strong point.

Yeah, that's on my Cantr wish-list

Well, not really unattainable ... just requires sailing. Sailing is already developing fast. There are fast ships and there is loads of sailing going on. This'll develop by itself, don't worry ...
