There's been a few hints of this already... I've just come across it in the game

If it does mean what I think it does... THANKYOU!

I am both pleased on a cerebral level, and very very sad on a "my characters are in trouble" level.

Heh heh. This is going to change things...

What agar said worries me. Look at your tool-weapons...are they meant to have superpowers? Because I see what he means...

This will be great...but I have my usual demand.
Please make it public on how it works!

*Will items deteriorate quicker when you use them?

*Is there ways to prepare tools/weapons to not deteriorate at all as long as you don't use them? (like greasing them in some kind of oil/far)

*About how quick does the items deteriorate at a normal rate? (so that you can complain now instead of when you stand with a broken tool if the pase is too quick :))

But as I said in the first sentence. This will be great! :D

Well put, making rklenseths answer utterly useless...

Not really. Anthony is just being his usual self. And I think Jos pretty much explained how it worked in his announcement in Cantr. I'm not going to explain anymore than that as I'm not sure they want anymore information known. But pretty much how do items deteriorate in real life is how they will in Cantr.

Also, Jos explains that ways to repair items and such has not been programmed yet and that is what they are working on now. But don't worry, it'll take a little while before you see most things begin to fall apart.

There are only a few things that break easily so far and you'll understand why when they do as well as they are easy to replace.

Do you know if there will be ways to prevent items from simply rusting away? Like keeping them greased up etc?

I assume that the steel in Cantr isn't rust protected like the modern steel items IRL...
