Raft Squatter

Postby Agar » Tue Nov 30, 2004 1:49 am

So I have a character who's made a raft on a lake. A newspawn does nothing else but walk right on board and stay there. Hasn't said a word, just sits there, not doing nothing but getting hungry, not stealing the raft or anything.

So the problem is some bug in the vehicles, or at least the raft, it won't let me point, talk, drag or shoot the guy. No way to get him off or even get onto the raft and hurt him.

Can someone look at this or tell me what to do? He's been there 5 days.
Reality was never my strong point.

This is aparently happening with all vehicles. Which is a pain. Especially for the Raft, because two people can't fit in it, so you need to drag from the outside, or talk on the outside, etc.

He's still stuck on my raft. It's been quite some time, Is this still a bug on all vehicles or has it been patched up some and just my raft is still buggy?

Too much longer and he'll have starved to death. We'll need to be able to drag him off either way, but at least with his dead body there, it keeps people from being able to steal my raft, giving it a new type of lock: a corpse lock!

I believe the bug is still active. It's already been posted on Flyspray as well, as a high priority thing to fix.
