Apparently not...yet.

I had seen the initial mistaken report on [Yahoo I think, but don't quote that] his death earlier today. My wife knows I am a big fan and she texted me that he passed... We can blame her? (or yahoo?)

I think he only has a few days left, the last I read (on yahoo, gag) was that he has zero brain activity and a DNR order... so the painful waiting game goes on of hoping that the sleeper wakes up eventually. Sounds like a game I used to play.
Maybe he will indeed dance at the zombie zoo... I watched a rendition of "Spike" on the tube to remind me of seeing him in concert. He really connected with the audience, told stories, and just rocked the house. Either way, he had already said he was done touring... I just didn't know his retirement was permanent.

I've been out of the game for awhile now due to sickness and work. Now I'm down to one usable hand while the other is in a splint because of a work injury. Swear when it rains it pours. I try to keep up on at least reading whats going on but I can't even do that most of the time. Think I've only managed to keep one character somewhat active in the last two weeks.

So I just noticed that in my head, one of my characters has suddenly developed an accent like Rarity's from My Little Pony. Like, most of the things she says, my brain mentally says in that accent. I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Yeah, in my head destinyswalrus is a full-blown Bronie and I definitely feel awkward about that.

Ehhhhhh.... depends on if you count girls as Bronys or if you have to use a different term for adult females interested in the show. (Personally I use brony for any non-kid into MLP because I think the alternative terms sound stupid)

I do mostly keep up with the show, because I like cartoons and I'm of the opinion that it's often a surprisingly good show compared to many these days, especially considering it's a "girl show". As a whole the show's been deteriorating but every now and then there's episodes I really like. *shrug* But I'm not a rabid fangirl if that's what worries you.


Considering most of what I've been watching lately, possibly the more worrying question would be whether or not I am slowly turning into an otaku.

That's not what was worrying me. And I'm just pretending, anyway.

I don't know what an otaku is but (I'm pretty sure) that bromies are males who are interested in the little ponys for, let's say, erotic reasons (if you catch my drift).

Ah fair enough. I've only ever heard brony used with the most general definition of "people, usually guys, who are fans of MLP despite being outside the target demographic".
