Re: Character images
Thanks, Bmot. I figured out how to do it in game but I thought Photobucket was working for here. I guess for the free Photobucket there is a limit to how many you can post. The ads were making me crazy, anyway, so I'll try Imgur.

Photobucket changed their system and unless you pay their pictures won't show in 34d party sites. So lots of links just show that picture now.. In many places

Hey there!
It's late but Ping's player has told me they're very satisfied with the top results and very happy to roleplay with you all.
As a thank you, they asked me to post a fanart of the character that inspired Ping:
Disclaimer: I can't find who it belongs to, but the pic is neither theirs nor mine.

Well done Ping, but I can't be the only one that finds her description offensive. Surely we all stopped saying that people of Asian descent had "yellow skin" a while ago now? Unless she has a severe case of jaundice, it's rather short-sighted.

Re: Character images
Could be lost in translation, but yeah, unless her skin is literally yellow (and I have seen purple and blue, so not a huge stretch) that description was somewhat racist.

What is the modern, politically correct replacement? There does not seem to be any suggested replacement offered online.

Oh, dear. What's your opinion, Mr. Green

Re: Character images
Food and colour names? Unfortunately yellow has been linked to too many derogatory terms. It could be done in all kinds of ways:
She has fawn colored skin and blushes like a nectarine.
Her pale skin has a golden undertone.
Hey skin is a light ochre and carries the warmth of the sun.
I romanticised them to give more options.

I like that, Marlin, because it avoids also the issue of resorting to real-world geography.

Oh man, sorry for the mess. In our tongue and part of the globe that term doesn't really have such bad connotations and neither of us did realise it.
They've changed the term to a more neutral phrasing thanks to Marlin's suggestions.

Thanks folks, and Ping's player.. I guessed that it wouldn't have been intentional.

Here's another of my characters. Those who've met her should recognize her right away.
