Stupidity...

Postby TheTheorist » Wed Nov 24, 2004 4:13 pm

My character rushed the decision that he was going to build a boat and forgetting he wasn't in RFE started one and put a couple of kilo's of wood on it. Seeing as he's in RFN it's now just an abandoned project sat there. Is there any chance of getting it cancelled?

Please?!

This has happened to a lot of people.
Ships are good storage places though, so someone usually finished them and keeps them as a house :)

I did the same thing, but didn't notice utnil I was finished. I went inside the boat and even tried to undock before I realize what I had done.

So I think that we should get an error message anytime we try to create a boat in the wrong location. Just like the error messages we get when trying to make a room on a boat or trying to make the wrong machine outside.

Error messages exist, they just don't work (Obviously)

Think Noah's Ark. Just wait for a flood.

Please don't give Jos any more ideas. Life is becoming tough enough the last thing we need is a flood.

Flood would surely be a good way to reset the game without having to use aliens abducting people and dropping them to a new planet with their brains wiped.

I was actually thinking that some sort of plague would be better.
I wonder why someone never thought of it...

The game will never be reset. But weather will be added someday. :D

But it would be cool if in the future we could marvel at the magic machines of the old days, vehicles that require no fuel and houses build with no mortar and having stone doors with no hinges but still moved with no trouble... Or if development would take a step back and we'd forget how to make vehicles.
