IRC channel down?

I haven't been able to connect to the server for the last 24 hours. Is everyone noticing this?

Also, every time I have tried to connect using the applet linked to in the game, I have received this error:

Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Operation timed out: connect

Well I know that on my computer I can not get into irc through the link, so I got mirc and go on using that. I will look into it and see what I can figure out. I am in there right now so I am not sure what the problem is. But I will see what I can find out.

I am now able to connect without problems, but I had to change to a different DAL server. The one I was using before wasn´t working anymore.

Generally, it's best to connect to "random DALnet server" unless you have a good reason not to. That'll try all of them til you get a connection.

irc.dal.net also picks the best one for you at the time.

Can someone walk me through the mIRC method of getting into the Cantr chat? I'm unable to get it via the link now and I dont know too much about this mIRC I downloaded. Thanks.

Check the FAQ in the General Support area, I wrote a quick blerb to get onto the Cantr IRC using mIRC. Might help.
