Breach on road from Blojt, to Blojt forest west.
There, was, a character who was a thief and who also struck a lady of Blojt. She fled, and was cornered. When escape was not a posibility, she broke into ooc telling the other character in pursuit of her that she would have him removed from the game if he, or the Lady killed her. Not the person who played the lady, but the the man who was in pursuit. She then eluded to the fact she could have us both removed and ,we, were somehow in trouble. I didn't snitch, because that's not my way. The character is dead now, so I imagine there's nothing the staff can do.
This is for the person who played that character. I told my name to you in game. Say yours you ****(edit by Jess). Pull some ****(edit by Jess) like that again and I will tell on you instantly. I gave you your warning.
If any of the staff wants to log into my account and read the events though you are more then welcome to.

Hi guys and gals,
It is reasonably frustrating when someone cheats or is confrontational in general. However, a negative situation is generally much easier to resolve and its effects are much less if all others involved handle it as well as possible.
Let's not call players names in either the game or in the forums. OOC comments should be used only when necessary in-game, and that really isn't very often. The forum is a friendly place where all players should be able to feel welcome and comfortable, and that requires lack of name-calling, and discussions rather than heated arguments (Perhaps with the exception of the politics threads
).
**********************
***To those who recieve threats of being locked, banned, or removed:
These threats are hollow. Therefore, you don't need to let them upset you, other than the general annoyance that comes with a player not handling something well in game through roleplay, etc. It is extremely rare for a PD member to contact anyone through their characters. So, if someone makes a threat in-game about you being in banned or something, it isn't us.
Additionally, please do report such threats to us. We will talk the matter over with the player, so that he or she will realize it's not appropriate. We very rarely actually beat anyone, and reporting someone doesn't automatically mean they're in "trouble." Alot can be solved with a little bit of communication, and we can't facilitate that if we don't know who to talk to.
***To those who give threats to other players about being locked, removed, or banned:
Don't do it. Everyone understands that it can be frustrating to lose a character or have things go badly for them in-game. Please handle such situations maturely, as making threats and such will only complicate the situation. If you think something happening to your char in-game is a breach of the CR, then please contact the Players Department in this forum or at players@cantr.net. We will quickly look into the matter, and help the offending player make adjustments to their playing style, if there is in fact a breach.

I'll refrain from saying I think it was someone on the staff by the way they were talking. But I think it was. Don't you guys have some sort of screening process?
Well, I'll go answer my p.m. I just got. I'm probably in trouble for telling the truth, once again. The truth is real. Live in your dillusional bubbles all you like. I choose to except things for what they are.

Thanks
. The cursing issue isn't religious, but due to ages, and also due to trying to keep the forum a place to discuss things. I'm not worried about what words minor players hear, but rather concerned with what might happen if their parents read the screen and get the impression that the Cantr community is some kind of horrible influence on their kid(s). I'd feel bad if one of our fellow players either wasn't allowed to play anymore, or needed to resort to sneaking in for just a moment here and there when they're not likely to be caught
.

I totally deleted one post, because every line of it was either essentially a threat, or contained name-calling, which is specifically not allowed in the forums. If there had been a line that wasn't those things, I would have left it in.
I don't need to kiss up to anyone. Cantr staff is all volunteer, so it's not like a Christmas bonus is on the line.
In the very rare event that I delete an entire post, I will not put a follow-up post saying it was deleted. The reason is that I feel it gives the impression that the moderator had the "last word," while the player's words weren't heard. That is intended to be a courtesy for the player, not for the moderator. If I delete a post, I will not mention it unless the player does. For other types of moderation, I'll put my name and also edit to a minimum.

And for the record, when this does get shut down, I want you all to know I meant every word I said. That is if you even hear it. The staff might just edit it to their likeing.

I said, "Bitch. That's right I said it. Bleep that out too." In an earlier statement. That's really, really, threatening. The man is shutting me down! If you all ever new the real truth your little Cantr worlds would be shattered.
Good luck, and god bless,
