My damage bar is wrong!

Postby joshua johnson » Fri Nov 19, 2004 10:43 pm

I was damaged by an aggressive animal by 23% (after my shield blocked some), but my damage bar still looks FULL. (It says in the properties the proportions are .0023 - did someone make a decimal placement error?)

Would I die before noticing my own damage?
I think, therefore I think I am, I think

I agree there is something wrong with the damage/healing system. I was attacked by a buffalo, 9 % or so got past my shield, but I wasn't worried, since I'm carrying several kg of onions. BUT, it said I only needed 7g of onions to get back to full health. That struck me as very very odd, and I think someone else had the same problem. I ate the onions and now seem to be healthy, but the whole affair is very odd.
Reality was never my strong point.

Same thing happened to one of my chars who got attacked by a boar. I think it's just something with onions, I haven't noticed any oddities when eating any other healing food.

One of my characters on the Aki Island was attacked by a wild boar losing 13 percent health (the wooden shield saved 19 percent,) but when i went to heal it, only 18 tomatoes healed the 13 percent damage. And now I am completely healthy.
